Not as bad as the punter who cut himself with an axe during a motivational speech a few years ago, but Saints linebacker Scott Fujita on crutches after waterpark accident.

Hmm...wasn't it just yesterday that we were reading this?

Seven years from now, executives around the league will probably clamor to hire Sean Payton or Eric Mangini types....Mangini and Payton, with their guest speakers and offbeat motivational tactics, are moving football coaching even further into Fortune 500 territory. Neither has tried to fung shui the locker room yet, but give them time. These guys think outside the club box.

Mayhap master motivator Payton got a little too offbeat this time?

There was a defensive lineman for the Patriots who was in training camp .I believe in the 90s...(under Carroll??) who cut himself catching a knife...and missed a bit of TC. I think he was from UCLA but it was a pretty DUMB thing. I can not remember his name...but??
