Cool stat: 1st time in Patriots team history they've gone the first five games of a season without throwing an interception....that is remarkable when you realize 3 QBs have played for them this year.
technically only 2. did JB had any attempts last week? :p

I know you love Pat Patriot, but I have to say you lose me when you seem more worked up about the team logo than anything else. I can't imagine judging an owner based on that, but to each his own.
I may be forty years behind the times. It just simply may not matter today, as much (look at the Cavs...or most NBA teams, for that matter). The low draft picks and F.A.'s who make the team get pretty good money, and aren't moonlighting during the season to feed their families.

F.E. is a cheap gimmick whose fifteen minutes ran out when Mo Lewis knocked Drew out of the game.

But, look at the teams we especially hate and, are irritated that we're still tied with or behind in SB wins: GB, Dallas, SF, Pittsburgh-logos unchanged since 1963. It screams to fans who cheered as hard as we could through the sixties, seventies, eighties and early nineties, "Tough. You'll never see your team beat their rivals, and win titles. Go away."

I've had a couple of back and forth posts with you about this before, and we both seem to be stuck to our own opinions but I'll bite. I'll preface this by saying I respect the history of the franchise and Pat Patriot, but as a fan in my mid-2o's, Pat Patriot is as strange to me as Flying Elvis is to you. I never grew up with it, and it would feel like a slightly different team with us going back to those uniforms full time. Might as well stick with the uniforms that a generation of fans grew up with, look pretty damn good (in my opinion of course) and that we've formed a dynasty with.

Expecting the dislikes to roll in now...

Dude do you have to go on these rants NOW? I mean shouldn't we be reveling in a great win? Not focusing on past transgressions of whatever? Just IMHO.
yeah, you're right...I do wish it were in the past though

Didn't see the game and didn't see if it was mentioned yet, but were there any injuries of significance today?

It's okay, not your fault. No matter what, we've seen some really good football here the last fifteen+ years, and let's root for keeping it together and keeping it going, because this isn't just historic statistically. The Patriots of today live in a different world from their competitors, and nobody knows it more than the players.

Lombardi agrees:

Ya. Lombardi has been banging the drum on it for a couple weeks now. He is right. Pats have to clean it up. I am confident they will. But it is something to monitor going forward.

Not that I know of....Hogan went out several times for concussion protocol but he returned as well. Bennett aldo went out but came in. I know Collins was getting looked at but haven't heard anything there either.

All things considered. Pats red zone D is a bit of a concern. We are good between the 20's. But the redzone D is not good right now. We have to clean that up.

Lombardi agrees:

Well tbf it's a bit hard to increase your redzone defensive efficiency when you've only allowed 3 red zone trips in the last 3 games.

If Rowe is making progress toward getting a role on defense, that could be a source of improvement. We don't have a lot of size in the secondary atm, and that's an issue that gets magnified in the red zone. Given how late in the preseason Rowe joined the team, I think it's reasonable that he hasn't been able to get on the field until now, but hopefully we'll start seeing more of him in the next few weeks before the bye.

"Deemed"?? I'm not sure what "deemed that he threw a punch" even means. If he threw a punch, wouldn't you just say "he threw a punch"?

I was surprised how good TBs timing was. I was disappointed that the Browns could score the first 7 points on our defense. Our offense slowed down in the second half

Very glad for the win.

Bills leading LA end of three, what?
