And funny enough only we understand how biased this league can be. I'm not sure why people think the league picking favorites is so unheard of since its very common in the working enviroment and even in school. Everybody has favorites and chooses who to punish.

I don't know, but I doubt he had a TX LTC. Even beyond that, it's probably illegal in TX to carry in a club

I seem to remember a certain NY Giant receiver who did this and got into all kinds of snot with his team, including suspension.

Maybe this is different.

I'd guess it's legal in Texas to carry pretty much anywhere. And I don't write that as a political statement. Just seems that the spaces aren't the only things wide open in the Lone Star State.

Class 3 felony if w/o ltc in place w booze.

Class A misdemeanor if he was trashed w a gun- 1yr prison

Class B misdemeanor if it went off in a establishment.-6mo prison.

He sounds screwed but I bet he skates

There aren't very many places regardless of what color state they are where you can carry in a club or a bar. I think TX is even more restrictive than some other states, it aint gun rights heaven

Maybe before he goes to jail he can ask the judge if he can serve his time in the offseason so he won't miss any games. Since Goodell doesn't see anything wrong with firing a gun in club while intoxicated, the judge probably wont either.

Even if he did have a concealed carry permit, he'd still be facing charges for discharging his weapon in a public setting.

It certainly wouldn't be nearly as severe as discharging without the permit, but worth noting just the same.
