Wiggins is not better then Kyrie

Why are you comparing them? They play two totally different positions. You should be comparing Wiggins to Love. Wiggins is exactly the type of guy that the Cavs could use right now and he has the much brighter future of the two. The Cavs made a pretty massive mistake trading him for Love. They should have just kept Wiggins.

The reason Eveeyone is so down On love is literally the same thing that happened to Bosh.

Talented offensive big who can shoot? Now you play with LeBron? Oh, now, you're just a jump shooter.

People say playing w LeBron makes people better. Not true. The players that are better playing w LeBRon for the most part are mediocre players who can only shoot, and then get a bunch of open threes. Everybody else has to completely change to fit in w LeBron

Bosh played a lot of center when LeBron was here too. He's not the hardest guy in the NBA, but he was at least willing to go down there and bang with the other big men. Love is Charmin soft.

Feel awful for Bosh, he's a great guy by all accounts. Hope he hangs em up for his own good. If I could hang with one NBA player, Bosh would be near the top of the list. Super cool genuine guy.

Care to explain how Russell is better than Lebron? He shot 44% from the field while being guarded on most nights by 6' 7" white boys. That is a terrible percentage for a post player. Awful. He Couldn't shoot free throws. He was routinely dominated by the one great center he played against. Yes he blocked a lot of shots of those same 6' 7" white boys. Great. How about this--he was a very good defensive center who also happened to be on the best team of his era. Switch him with Wilt and you switch the number of championships.

Stupidest Post I've ever read.

When Bill Russell joined the Celts, we'd won ZERO Championships.

When Bill Russell retired, we'd won ELEVEN.

You don't think he might've had something to do with that? ;)

Disagree. Bosh was much softer... Barely rebounded at all w LeBron. Was made completely into a 3 point shooter.

Love is getting similar treatment, but he's still grabbing 10 rebounds per game

Russell was better than Lebron relative to their competition in their respective eras. But 1 on 1 Lebron would crush him and it's not even close.

It's like if you took a superstar football player from the 50s and plugged them into today's NFL. Except that in football that player would literally get killed on the field. I mean he'd literally die after being tackled by the superhuman freaks that now make up the NFL.

2010-2011: 8.3 RPG
2011-2012: 8 RPG (57 games)
2012-2013: 6.8 RPG
2013-2014: 6.6 RPG

That's considering that Bosh, as you say, also spent a lot of time on the wing coupled with the fact that the Heat tended to crash the boards as a team due to their ability and propensity to play small ball. I wouldn't exactly qualify those numbers, particularly in the first two seasons, as "barely rebounded at all with LeBron". Further, Bosh, since LeBron left, is averaging about 7 RPG still, albeit in limited time.

Do you must agree then, Love is probably better in the paint.

I honestly feel so bad for Cleveland. What team of theirs is even close to a championship at this point? Not the Browns lol. The Cavs seemed to be right there but they are going to get blown up. Are the Indians even decent?

How do you not win a championship just purely by accident over literally half a century.

What's funny about Cleveland is that they could have had a truly top level team, but LeBron's need to play with his guys screwed that up. Imagine LeBron with a facilitator like Rondo (just an example, as he was available at the time) instead of Erving. That would have allowed Love to play a game more suited to his style, and allowed Lebron to be a monster in matchups, instead of having him trying to dominate the game from the outside.

Instead, they've got Love playing a role in which he's not particularly comfortable, They've also got a point guard who's all but allergic to defense, who's not particularly good with assists (4.7 apg this year, with that team), and who has to dominate the ball to be effective. And, to top it off, they've got a superstar who could have been really playing off of other players instead of trying to dominate games, on his own, from the outside.

I think the Warriors win in 5, at home.

Curry goes for 30+ and 40+ points in 2 of the next 3 games and wins Finals MVP.

this league is more crooked than the Snake river....7 games...book it

The Browns came close in the 80s with "The Drive," and "The fumble." The Indians were dominant and headed for a playoff spot...in the strike shortened year, of course.

They regrouped and came close to winning the WS, only to lose it in extra innings during a dramatic 7th game. They were also up 3-1 in the ACLS and lost in 2007, I believe to the Red Sox.

The Cavs have come somewhat close in recent years, even during last year's finals when they led 2-1.

The city is cursed. I don't know how they'll manage to win for awhile, unless James recruits Wade to Cleveland somehow. Then they'd probably lose the finals in 6 or 7 games instead of this year's 4 or 5.

The Great Spirit has seen what they've done to Lake Erie...they will NEVER win anything.

I agree today's athletes are better overall but I think there would be less of a difference in the NBA then NFL or NHL. I think that MLB would probably have the smallest difference. Just an opinion.

Russell was on a GREAT, GREAT team that didn't need him to score (which was the weakness in his game). If he had been on the same teams Lebron has found himself on I don't believe he would have won more than 2 championships, and maybe less than that. Circumstances and teammates matter.

I don't think that Russell would have lost much with Wade and Bosh carrying the scoring load
