It almost always comes down to money. I feel that Matthews is just saying that because it looks better.

There going to basically bring back the entire starting offensive line and the narrative they will go with is "well they were injured" while ignoring they were mediocre at best when relatively healthy.Ok, so we're standing pat on the OL? Really?
I don't even hear a whisper of activity there.
Hogan is 6'1 1/8" and 221lbs. So he's got some size. He also runs the 40 in 4.5 (10 - 1.57, 20-2.63). Prior to signing with the 49ers as a UDFA, Hogan only had 1 year of football. But he had played Lacrosse for 4 years. He's spent the last 4 seasons with the Bills (2 on the PS).
Hogan's workout numbers are actually better than Lafell's and Hogan is still perfecting his route running abilities.
Hogan plays with a chip on his shoulder and works hard daily, from what I can find. I think he'd be a good depth signing and could push for a role as the outside WR or possibly a hybrid role like H-back.

Forte wasn't going to come here and split the job with Lewis. It was never a possibility.
Wasn't that the whole point? ...to reduce the number of reps for Lewis per game?
Having both the starting T playing in their proper positions and Scar coaching up the young interior should be good enough.

...which is better than White on both counts.
They call him 7-Eleven because he stays open. What's not to like?

One of the knocks I've seen is that he would get open and not get the ball because of Tyrod Taylor being the QB. If he were to sign with the Patriots and continue to do that, but on the intermediate routes, people on here would be having orgasm left and right..
