I asked you earlier. Do you believe that the track athlete, who is the only witness to the incident is lying also?
sorry didnt see. Hopefully this answers your question.

I dont know. The guy was apparently expelled from the program. Which either means he is bitter, or he was telling the truth and the University did not like one of their stars being painted in this light.

But the entire article stinks to me...
Funny how this Shaun King guy didn't do any digging on the Ray Lewis manslaughter trial the week after he won and then retired. Do you think if Jameis Winston won, would King go after sealed court documents? Not a chance. Because those guys didn't do anything wrong in King's eyes and were wrongly accused.

Any star athlete, black or white, is going to get away with whatever they want, especially at an SEC school. That's just the nature of things and it is completely wrong but that's the privilege of fame.

Now i am going to go ready for Walking Dead. Have a good nite fellas.

This is a complete wimp answer to a pretty direct question.

And you need 40 minutes to "get ready" for TWD? Do you watch in costume?

I never thought that I'd be wishing for smarter trolls, but I'm there now.

You should read his letter. He is the lone witness. He doesn't seem bitter. He simply tells Peyton to tell the trainer sorry and for Peyton to come clean with the truth.

Have a good night.

What jumped out, to me:

I have now learned of at least 6 journalists who've had the documents I received last week for years and pretty much refused to release them or reveal the full weight of what they revealed. The machine put in place to protect Peyton Manning is incredible. It's not just reverence though, it's fear. He and his family will attempt to ruin you if you cross him.

I find this both unbelievable and not surprising at all, at the same time. We don't know who these 6 sports media people are right now, but I hope it's not someone who was ever proud of their journalistic integrity, claimed to be a conduit for the fans, or said they were on the side of truth.

The other thing that I can't wrap my head around is that this isn't a powerful politician or billionaire businessman. It's a football player. A popular, accomplished, and influential football player, but an athlete, nonetheless. Like Favre, Marino, and Montana, Manning's going to leave the game at some point and football will go on without him. In the next decade or so, another QB will come along who will break his records (I was going to say "who is better than him," but there already is one, playing for the Patriots.) He's a great player, but he's not impacting our world either through political decisions or technological advances. The fact that Manning has reached a level where the media is either too in awe or too afraid of him to write something negative is hard to believe. I used to point to a Dr. Z article praising Manning on his performance in a 6 INT game was the best evidence of a pro-Manning media bias, but this story blows that away. It also begs the question, what other players or coaches are getting this treatment?

Yeah I'm going to take what this guys says with a huge grain of salt. It was great that he posted the article with the supporting documents and attracted a ton of attention to them but there is too much crap out there regarding his credibility.

....as long as King has supporting documentation then that is good enough for me.

Well I was wrong about the attention this was going to get. I just saw Mike & Mike air the story in a fairly anti-manning light. I am a little stunned about how far they went into it. They actually read some of the damning details straight from the court documents.

Not to sound like a ruthless television executive but it is in ESPN's interest to run with this story. Their ratings suck even with the NFL and America is a sucker for a good sex scandal.

Which IMO is what the 6 plaintiffs want- maximum exposure.

In his freshman year, Peyton Manning committed a MAJOR violation at the University. His attorneys forced it to be redacted in our documents.

Dr. Jamie Naughright was the one who caught Peyton Manning in this violation his freshman year. That's the ROOT of every problem they have.

I believe we will be able to release the redacted portion of the court documents as well. I've discovered what that was about. Deep & ugly.

True but I am starting to think that ESPN knows something and decided to get in front of it.

1. said it was college. Wouldnt be the first time a college kid acted immature. If manning continued to have a history of this, past college, situation would be different. Where are all the other Manning sexual assault victims?
2. Oh i will keep giving reasons even if people dont want to look at them.
3. It was from a news article when this actually happened. No edit needed. Read the article.
4. Really? Wow. Just make up stuff now ?
5. Sorry if i dont defend myself over people calling me a piece of **** over just posting relevant information.
6. Imagine if i actually tried to defend the information i posted....

1. Ever heard the statistic that the majority of rapes go unreported? Now narrow that down to smaller sex crimes. Now narrow that even further down to smaller sex crimes committed by giant sports celebrities whose mega rich families will destroy you if you speak up. Throw in the fact that the only woman to ever speak up against him, was in fact destroyed by his family. Hmm, I wonder why no one has ever come forward?
2. We're still waiting for you to give us anything of substance. The only thing you gave us was irrelevant and edited out of context by you to make it seem like something it wasn't.
3. You edited it. We caught you. It's all in this thread. Don't lie Peyton.
4. Again. You did it. Don't lie.
5. Calling a woman a nut job without any reason and then making up stories to try to justify it is not the same as "being called a piece of s*** over posting relevant information".
6. We welcome your attempt to defend the information you posted, considering it was useless and the only time it seemed worth something was when you mixed them together out of context and changed the wording. Please, Teabag Defender, defend your work.
