Gripes in Indianapolis

Time to change the rules to allow the quarterback five Mississippis to get rid of the ball.

And even though it was changed for Andrew Luck, people will still derogatorily refer to it as "The Brady Count".

I agree.

Only way Josh goes to Indy if he has full personnel control.

I'm not sure Irsay would allow that. He likes the separation of power.

Agreed.
Even worse, even BB has had problems coaching teams with bad attitudes.
Josh would not only have to deal upward with a wackjob owner, but the team's culture stinks. Managers reading this know that dealing with an established rotten culture is the hardest job. Imagine for example NEEDING to trade a TY Hilton to fix team culture would do with the fanbase which clearly does not understand the BB culture of team building. Ridden out of town on a rail. This franchise expects a turn around right to the SB. BIG mistake to take that job.

Josh needs to take a team say like the Giants, not perfect but not rotten to the core with a rotten head. Or a team that the fanbase/owner does not expect a 1-2 year turnaround to the SB.

Or he brings caserio with him
I believe you've been corrected on this before, but still have not learned. Caserio is among the highest paid GMs in the league. He has been extended through 2020 and is BB's heir apparent. Unless there is some serious internal strife in NE, Caserio isn't going anywhere to play second fiddle to McDaniels.

I wouldn't be so sure Caserio wouldnt join longtime friend Mcdaniels.
The rumor was he would of took the Miami job if he could of handpicked his coach.
I could see a scenario where in the future however where its Nick and Matt runnimg the Patriots.
I believe Matt has a very good chance to be the heir.

I believe Matt has a very good chance to be the heir.
I musta missed when they backed the Brinks truck up for Patricia and gave him a six year extension. Patricia may end up being the NE HC some day, but Caserio is going to be running the show.

The Dolts are getting their " We almost made the Playoffs " banner ready to be raised in their rafters......

Wait for it

I hope the Pats demand compensation from certain teams requesting permission to interview Pats' coaches, and the Colts would be at the top of the list.

I would demand a 1st and 4th round pick from the Colts.

Lost in the Deflategate discussion regarding the hopes for the Pats getting their picks back, is that the Pats should not only have been able to keep their own picks, they should have received draft picks from the Colts for their role in instigating a witch hunt over bogus charges.

I'm loving the collapse of the Colts and Ravens!

Indianapolis Colts

Store credit or a full refund for Ryan Grigson's veteran shopping spree. Andre Johnson's 418 receiving yards are good for 97th in the league. Trent Cole has just three sacks. Frank Gore is averaging 3.6 yards per rushing attempt, the worst figure he has posted by a full half-yard over a professional season. And Todd Herremans lost his starting job after two games. Kendall Langford's snaps as a decent two-way defensive end might represent the best move Grigson made this offseason.
Barnwell: Handing out holiday gifts to all 32 teams

Wow, I'm starting to think this kind of stuff could get in the way of their run to the Super Bowl? This is their year.
Amen!! Every year, they've taken one step closer to the Super Bowl..!!

Grigson's Folly. Idiot GM was so worried about ball inflation nonsense that he forgot (or didn't know in the first place) that football teams win or lose at QB and in the trenches. Grigson blew his wad at WR - just the opposite of how our local guy allocates his resources.

This all starts at the top. The owner is a spoiled, self-entitled, drug-addled lunatic who has delusions of adequacy stemming from his belief that being born rich is some Herculean accomplishment that he somehow deserves great credit for.

By the way, remember in preseason when Bert Breer interviewed a bunch of GMs who said that Luck had surpassed Brady and was the second best QB in the league? If it seemed funny then, it's well past hilarious now.

Sorry to say it feels good to see this sorry franchise circling faster and faster in the bottom of the bowl ...

When you have one of the worst o-lines in the league, you can't throw the ball down the field a lot. If Grigson spent their first rounder on an o-lineman rather than another WR, they might be able to get the ball down the field.

"Er ... (hic!) ... I mean ... shmenanix befluggah googly goo ... YAH! ... uh ... Peyton?"

Hey! I think that's my old neighbor Leo. He always had the shades down in his house 24/7 and there was always a weird smell wafting about on the sidewalk in front of his house.
He wandered off from a neighborhood St Parick's Day celebration without his medication 5 years ago. I hadn't seen him since then until now. It's a Christmas miracle!

Caserio is not General Manager.
