Steven Jackson!

I don't want to down this Iosefa kid, but anyone who plays running back behind Brady has a huge advantage he won't see in many other places. Defenders are on their heels. I could see Jackson providing a lot to this team.

Worse case scenario : he isn't great... I am more than happy with a BB that keeps tweaking, refusing to be satisfied. Ayers helped HT bring down Lynch. Thank goodness for BB's pick ups.

Even if he isn't great, he'll give you 10-12 carries and a catch out of the backfield, allowing Bolden to play ST almost exclusively.

That's a win, to me.

Oh, and one more thing:

SJax - 23 career fumbles, 5 his last 7 seasons, 0 his last 3
Dillon - 28 career fumbles, 22 his last 7 seasons, 8 his last 3

How much do we expect him to play Sunday? Ease his way in...or full tilt

Honestly, if he practices all week? I think he starts and plays significant time (assuming he's somewhat effective).

Tough call. Jets have a very good run D and the Pats only ran it 9 times when they played in October.

I suspect they'll activate him and give him a few carries to get him acclimated to the offense.

Use Jackson for screen plays. Once his motor starts, it will be hard to bring him down (ala, Blount).

We will be without DA and probably Jules as well...So passing that much may be tough

I think they're going to have to sack up and run it 20 times this week. Even if it doesn't work.

Without Edelman and Amendola against the Jets (and potentially Dolphins) I wonder if they'll use Jackson in the passing game, equally as much (if not more) than the running game. Dude was a reception machine throughout his career.

Have they even signed him yet, or is this all still speculation?

My question as well.

Just a guess but I suspect they delayed the announcement to inform an unlucky player of the corresponding move. Today is an off day under the CBA and maybe they want to do it in person.
