I would like to see where those "most here" are, seeing as everyone seems to accept that those three facets sucked tonightI just want to know why most here can't admit the offense, special teams, and coaching sucked tonight.
I don't think the offensive output sucked, but a 99 yard INT-TD coupled with the miscommunication INT to LaFell, the pass blocking and running game (which are huge parts of an offense), the drops at the end all point to a generally sucky game from the offense. Putting up 28 points doesn't excuse it28 points without your top 3 weapons is not exactly sucking.
Special teams absolutely sucked .......
Both INTs on Brady, throwing into double coverage to Amendola, and just waste of a throw to Lafell right after the beautiful trick play

?????????????????????????????????????????????
Well, situationally he could have been a bit more careful on the throw to Amendola. The second one is on LaFell, even if Brady tried to fall on the sword in the press conference and said he was throwing it away.
You don't agree with the assessment of the pick 6 ?
Yeah but Brady made two horrible decisions and they cost the Pats big time. He knows it. He'll be better when he gets the rest of the offense to CATCH the balls that hit them in the hands. Looked like a classic trap game tonight. BTW Brandon Bolden was a huge bag of meh AFAIC. Ran bad routes. Dropped balls that hit his hands. Whiffed on blocks. He looked he was stoned.
Defender put hands on Amendola. Should have been an illegal contact penalty.
Lafell, gets a huge WTF? after this game.
No, that bone headed pouch kick was, it was the turning point of the game.Slater getting hurt early ended up being the most impactful play of the night. The ST unit seemed out of sorts once he went down. Hopefully he's back quickly from the stinger.
I thought LaFell slowed down on that route and Brady expected him to keep going to the EZ. I heard Brady take the blame but it didn't look like that to me during real time and I was seated at that end of the field. Had a real good look. LaFell really was up and down all night IMO.
Agree on the illegal contact penalty, but even then it was a pretty tight window throw to player that had two defenders around him.
Really, don't think the second INT throw was that much of a terrible decision but a misunderstanding. If LaFell runs the route Brady envisions it is at worst an incomplete.

Well looking at the schedule Pittsburgh has Cincinnati and denver the next.2 weeks......so do we root for Pittsburgh? I know we really don't want them in the playoffs but they could really help the Pats out, and than the following week they play each other so 1 will fall back at least (well if we win it will matter) I can't believe we went from everyone (media) thinking we could go undefeated to now maybe moving down to 3rd seed)
