Question for everyone that's been on my mind. Should the Pats do all they can to hold onto the 1 seed, bringing guys back from injury as soon as possible, which will give them a bye week and home field advantage but will potentially expose guys to re-injury, or should they try to rest their hurt guys as much as possible and just worry about clinching the division which should be very easy, but will likely leave them as the 3 seed, no bye week and probably only 1 home game. But, they would have a higher likelihood of having all their guys. Your thoughts?

Health. No question.

But I think they can get a bye without rushing guys back, anyway.

Health is #1 but the Patriots really need the bye at least.

HFA we still have the Easiest out of all our other rivals also HFA = Referee Bias we know all about that.

Yeah, with luck it won't be an either/or situation, but just for the sake of discussion I am treating it as one. I think they should shoot for a bye but I believe health is paramount. Based on how BB has kept guys out of games after injuries recently, I think he probably agrees.

Need HFA. We got hosed last night. It's a joke. I wish we had complained about. I don't give an f about a fine

Healthy pats team can go anywhere and beat anyone.

Look at the sched for us vs broncos and bengals
broncos vs bengals - one of them is going to get to 3 losses.
Broncos still have to play the steelers on the road.
Bengals have to host the steelers at home.
Pats toughest two games(I always think every game is tough but still) are going to be houston and jets. If we manage to pull them off we can get a bye . HFA is a cherry on top.

HFA means nothing in the Super Bowl. If forced to choose, I would go with Health. A healthy Pats team is the best team in the NFL. We can go anywhere and beat anyone, as slash83 said.

I would prefer not to choose, though, and have both HFA and health.

Denver = Brady kryptonite lets stop kidding overselves under no circumstance would I want us to play them there in a do or die game.

I think there will be some risk:reward with every player, and they won't subscribe to a broad philosophy. It will depend on how good the player is, how likely he is to be reinjured, who the backup/matchup is, etc. You can be sure BB is weighing the same questions you are right now.

All "Big Three" AFC teams have some dog fights coming up:

Patriots
@Houston
@NYJ
@Miami (they just always play us though there)

Broncos
Oakland
@Pittsburgh
Cincinnati

Bengals
Pittsburgh
@Denver

Health. Going 3-2 down the stretch should be good enough for a bye.

I'll say it again, a healthy team would of won with ease last night.

Just stay healthy. I am very confident in this team with a full squad in the playoffs. Good news is we get a couple of weeks of Brady/Martin getting more work in, so when Dola and Edelman and Gronk come back they'll be a ****ing force to reckon with. Would be nice to have a fully healthy Collins and HT too. I can't wait for this regular season to end already. Sick of these penalties. A bye week at an appropriate time instead of week ****ing 4 would've been nice too

Health for sure this time. I really feel like this team can beat anyone, anywhere when they are at full strength. If it was not for the injuries that piled up on them, they go 16-0 no question.

The Broncos have their own injury issues too. The biggest bummer about last night was the officiating

I think Denver is the only current Team that has Brady's number also N.E. Patriots Teams do not do historically well in Denver I have come to accept that.

Heath. This team can beat anyone anywhere if they have a healthy, team

The Broncos have to play the Chargers twice (as well as the Raiders) and the Bengals have to play the Browns and Ravens. The latter two may seem like pushovers but it's tough to discount divisional games.
