Maybe it's just because I've had a few beers but I am really happy right now as a Pats fan.

A few beers, you say? Hmmm...

But a thought just came to my mind:

To paraphrase Winston Churchill, tomorrow I will be sober, but many here will still be Chicken Littles!

What's scary about this team is that the offense has been very pedestrian for most of the past two games. And very pedestrian has led to "only" 66 points in those two games.

What did he say, Joker?

He said it was a total team effort and was completely self deprecative in the face of the prodding by the hosts to brag and pound his chest...like we've seen Dallas scumbag criminals do, and Jet moronmouths and Buffalo braggarts. Makes me PROUD to be a Patriot fan and PROUD to be associated as a fan with a team that possesses such class and sportsmanship. Goodell is a rotten scumbag. The antithesis of everything the Patriots stand for. A rotten, moronic, power drunk scumbag that should be facing federal racketeering charges.

Maybe it's just because I've had a few beers but I am really happy right now as a Pats fan. Last week against the Jets was one of the best games I've ever seen Brady play and this week I honest didn't think he was at the top of his game but then I look up and he just has these unreal passing stats. First time our defense has played up to its potential for 60 minutes too, which is probably the best news of the day.

Feels great to have this mini bye now to get our o-line a little healthier. Let's get ready for the Redskins (lol), the Giants, and the Broncos over the next month. There's gonna be a lot of undefeated talk in the press and I guess that's cool but all I care about is staying healthy for January and February. To me the number 5 is way more important than the number 19.

Also looking at this thread so far I don't think I'm the only one who has had a few beers!

Once we beat the Giants then I will get on the undefeated train. 9-0 and one of our harder games behind us. I will not get into it till then.

Some Wrap up thoughts

- We are the best team overall in the NFL today.

- That being said, we still need another corner to be completely safe. When we face some of the truly great QBs, like Rodgers, Dalton (He has been great this year) and some others in the play offs, we will have trouble if we continue trusting on Coleman to blanket some of this league's number 3 WR.

- Brady has TWENTY F*CKING TOUCHDOWNS TO ONE INTERCEPTION. DAMN IT EDELMAN, IT COULD BE BETTER AND YOU KNOW IT.

- Those points that we left on the field, especially on the first half, were weird. I feel like it's common to some teams to have weak quarters, but it felt weird seeing it in us.

- Harmon and Chung are improving greatly (Bonus Points: I picked them as the ones who would improve the most this season, so Yay me). Easly still has some up and downs, but is better too. Brown is also coming along nicely.

- As said on the game thread. Ryan has been our best CB in last 3 weeks. I don't know if it's a scheme to disguise his weaknessess, bad playing by the other team, but he has been great. Even better than Butler IMO.

- Still some drops on our offense. LaFell rebounded, though.

- We will need another O-lineman, if it comes to the worst about Jackson. Even if it doesn't IMO.

- I don't see Blount as good as he was last year, but D. Lewis is the best back the Patriots have ever had since Dillon.

- again, as said on gameday thread. 10 days to rest and we get a lot of toys back. Mason, Stork, Sheard, Chris Jones should be ready to go.

- We are on to Washington

Way too much negativity dude. You're messing with my buzz.

I've read the LOLphins forums and they're so sorely losers... Call us cheatriots as much as you want but in the end brady is the GOAT and marino is the greatest choke artist of all time.

There's a quarterback with a pink forehead who takes issue with that second claim.

Watch Rodgers come out and have a quality game, and the analysts will fall in love with him again as MVP.

- 36-7, and they made it look utterly routine. I've read posts here talking about the offense's inefficiency, and even saying "sometimes you just have to win ugly."

- Logan Ryan, Duron Harmon and Pat Chung are all looking really good. Let me repeat that: Logan Ryan, Duron Harmon and Pat Chung.

- "The Dolphins are the hottest team in the league.":rolleyes::rolleyes: It will be interesting to see how well they bounce back from this reality check.
If Wake's injury is as bad as it looked, it's more likely they'll tail spin than bounce back.
