I'll be there, I'm taking Joker with me. We'll be in section 227, but you should be able to hear his raving and ranting throughout the south end zone area -- especially with the marvelous new end zone lounge keeping things quiet in that part of the stadium.

Now that Brady will be there, so will I! I will be in Section 136 and I fully expect to have no voice on Friday morning!! Can't wait! Still trying to come up with a good sign, which I will probably whiff on.

I'll be there loud and proud and have been there for every banner reveal. Last time the champs opened against the Squealers was after the 2001 - 02 SB. Two vivid memories of that night. A Squealer jersey being burnt in the parking lot (and then pissed on) and rookie Branch having a huge debut in a Pats blowout,

That was also the debut of Gillette Stadium and the game that they showed Cordell Stewart on the Jumbotron over and over, saying, "Sometimes the best team doesn't win." as the Pats wiped the field with them (again). I remember BB was pissed that the stadium people did that, but it was sweet during the game!

I wish I could be there but I am in the NYC area. I will be in front of TV, cell phone shut off, Laptop and tablet shut off and totally watching us bury the Pittsburgh. I will wear my Pats cap and shirt as I would if I could make the game. My liquor cabinet will be locked. I will be totally focused for us to set the stage for a big season.

This will be the first Pats game I have watched, and I have watched them all since the 1960 opening night in person or on TV, without a dog. Love your animals.

Received an email from the Patriots indicating that fans should be in their seats by 8...given that security will be amped up I plan on making my way in around 6-6:30. Hopefully ALL lots are open between 3-3:30.
