I stand by my opinion.

Also, I think it is an urban legend that Woody Hayes actually coined either that phrase or the one about three possible things happening when you throw a forward pass, two of which are bad.

On the other hand, he really did check out of the Ohio State University library a book called "How Porcupines Make Love". I don't know the subject of the book, but the title is surely a reference to the old riddle/joke.
 
And announcers should stop saying "the National Football League."

"You can't do that and expect to succeed in the National Football League." Just say NFL, or even better, just stop talking. Such a blowhard thing to say, and they use it all the time.
