I'm sorry, have to post again. That is the worst thing I've ever read.

--"The evidence gathered by attorney Ted Wells for the NFL's investigation is clear and convincing." Wrong. Saying it doesn't make it so.

--"The text messages between Brady and two Patriots staffers" Don't exist

--"The disappearance of the Patriots' footballs in the moments before kickoff" They didn't disappear

--"The history of similar incidents involving Brady" There isn't one

--"and Brady's stonewalling of the NFL investigators" He didn't stonewall

--"lead to only one conclusion: Brady was clearly involved in an effort to under-inflate the footballs to give him a competitive edge."

How much is he getting paid off?

I made a conscious effort to try to read the whole article so I could really comment on it, but I couldn't make it. What laughable garbage.

"Can Brady get his suspension reduced in an appeal?" "NOPE!" Well ****, that's the most thorough legal analysis I've seen all year.

I love the title of this article of this article called "Lester Munson has done a disservice to all Mankind".

ESPN legal analyst Lester Munson, you, sir, have failed. Failed at your job. Failed at being a thought leader. Failed at failing in a funny, non-offensive way.

Even 1Ls won’t believe the kind of tripe Muson has been spewing on ESPN…

I’ve been listening to ESPN all morning, and at one point I had to put the television on mute because it’s hard to write when the sounds coming out of the television cause the gnashing of teeth and rending of garments. Basically, a bunch of the talking heads are saying that the verdict was a “victory” for the prosecution.

Yeah, a victory. Bonds got a mistrial on the three top counts, was nailed on a fourth count that is unlikely to land him in jail, and the prosecution couldn’t prove that he lied about performance-enhancing drugs even though EVERYBODY KNOWS BONDS LIED — and there are ESPN people calling this a victory. Un-freaking-believable.

I hate to be on the side of Barry Bonds, but Munson's analysis of the court verdict in his case is laughable. He claims that Bonds attorneys were 0 for 4 in the trial when three of the four counts ended in a hung jury and he was only convicted of the bottom count.

Correct me if I am wrong, but whenever there is a hung jury on a charge it is always considered a win for the defense. Not the prosecution.

So we are supposed to take an article seriously about Brady's chances of an appeal from a guy who thinks that Barry Bonds' lawyers lost when they got him a hung jury on his top three counts of his trial?

BTW, not only did the courts not try Bonds again on the top three counts that we hung, an appeals court overturn his conviction on the fourth count that he was convicted of. HUGE LOSS for Bonds.

Hey Munson, I got a traffic ticket the other day, but I don't think I was really speeding. Can I win if I plead not guilty? "NOPE!"

Hey Munson, my neighbor sued me because my tree fell on his car and I lost the trial but I don't think it was fair, should I appeal? "NOPE!"

Hey Munson, this girl I've never met says I'm the father of her unborn child. Should I get a paternity test done to find out if she's lying? "NOPE!"

Hey Munson, I heard someone say you're definitely a pedophile. Care to defend yourself? "NOPE!"

"Clear and convincing evidence"? Really? I mean, I'm not exactly shook up over people calling it a preponderance of evidence, but clear and convincing evidence is the evidentiary standard used for things like custody and probate cases. Would you want the possibility of your kids' inheritance being taken away to hinge on whether or not your brother called your distant cousin "mr future homeowner" in a text conversation once and a few post-it notes that have been signed with an illegible crayon signature that looks like it might kind of resemble yours?

Munson was a disgraced lawer who has been suspended, disbarred, who decided to take up journalism instead of continuing to practicing law.

After his admittance to the Illinois State Bar in 1976 and practicing law for 13 years, it appears Munson, facing multiple charges of misconduct occurring during a time he was already on probation by the Ilinois Bar, voluntarily agreed to discontinue practicing law. As a mitigating factor in his misconduct, Munson pointed to his alcoholism. In its 1991 decision to suspend Munson’s law license because of his continued misconduct while on probation, the Disciplinary Commission wrote:
“On September 30, 1986, Respondent was suspended from the practice of law for three years and until further order of the Court, and this suspension was stayed and Respondent was placed on probation for three years with conditions. In re Munson, No. 85 CH 57, M.R. 4029. Respondent's misconduct included his neglect of three client matters as well as misstatements regarding the status of two of the client matters. Respondent's misconduct was attributable to his alcoholism.”
.

“In October 1989, Respondent discontinued practicing. Respondent has no current intention to return to the practice of law.”

It'd be nice if some of these "news" outlets would bring on SOMEONE not toeing the NFL line.

Considering that Munson thought that Bonds' lawyers lost his trial by getting a hung jury on the three major counts, maybe he thinks that Brady has no chance of winning his appeal means he will get it reduced to zero games, but not get the league to extend the season to 20 games so he gets four more games to play next year beyond the traditional 16.

This is literally the worst article I've read on the situation. Not surprising considering ESPN distorting facts and outright lying started the whole thing.

It really is horrendously bad.

And if Willie McGinest hasn't made enough money yet to dare the NFLN to fire him, then I don't know what to say.

Fire me and let me tell everyone why you fired me.

4 superbowl titles, best winning percentage all time, 6 afc championships, 2 mvps, 3 superbowl mvps and married to the richest super model ever.

Yeah, brady can't win.
Giselle comes with an asterisk attacked.

I have to publicly apologize. The lawyers for Garbage contacted me.

By calling ESPN Garbage I was knowingly degrading and smearing the name of Garbage. I meant no harm for Garbage and I am completely sorry my calling ESPN Garbage has ruined the Garbage reputation. I hope this settles the wrongdoing I have done and that Garbage will forgive me.
