From one of the tweets at https://twitter.com/jeffphowe . Notice the descrepancy between the two gauges. And apparently we're being dragged through the mud because or 1 or 2 tenths difference between the Colts and Pats' footballs.
The refs didn't have enough time to do them all because halftime was ending. One fact no one seems to be discussing is why were only 4 Colts footballs measured??? I just don't get it, they decided to measure the Colts balls for a frame of reference, but only measured some of them...as with many things this does not make sense. Was there something with the other 8 footballs the report did not to explain...food for thought.
I've finally had the chance to start reading the actual report. Here is something I think they will use to hang team penalties on NE:
(that's with respect to the report's claim that NE refused to produce McNally after the initial interview.)
The refs didn't have enough time to do them all because halftime was ending.
My question is this. Why if Brady, Gostkowski et al refused to provide text messages did McNally agree to it? I assume he was perfectly within his rights to do the same?
After not communicating by
telephone or text message for more than six months (based on data retrieved from Jastremski‟s
cell phone), Brady and Jastremski spoke by telephone at least twice on January 19 (calls lasting a
total of 25 minutes and 2 seconds), twice on January 20 (calls lasting a total of 9 minutes and 55
seconds) and twice on January 21 (calls lasting a total of 20 minutes and 52 seconds) before
Jastremski surrendered his cell phone to the Patriots later that day for forensic imaging.
Ted Wells: "We do not believe that the evidence supports a conclusion that there was any deliberate effort by the Patriots to circumvent the NFL's Playing Rules with respect to the kicking balls used during the AFC Championship Game." what about this line tweeted by adam schefter?
I'm now going to look at SB49 AGAIN and watch Brady toss 4 TDs with REGULATION FILLED Footballs and do it on as Mediots would say No.1 Defense and second comin of 86 Bears (Seahawks) and what P.Manning only wished he could have done........
Public Opinion is just what it implies...........
I'll take Facts any day. Second half of Colts game & SB 49, Thank Goodness For Reg.Footballs.
Right. And you've posted two whole messages.
But enough time to re-inflate Patriot footballs back to spec? Whole thing is bizarreThe refs didn't have enough time to do them all because halftime was ending.
What, did they need McNally to show them how to do it quicker? The refs didn't have enough time to do them all because halftime was ending.
