Did they announce anything?
No he will pick between chargers and pats Tuesday morning. I wanted him in here really bad but I think he is gone. If he wanted to win he wouldn't have left. The fact he left is not a good sign. And as many have stated before me if money is the same would you pick SD weather or Boston...maybe I am preparing myself so am not that dissapointing but I think he is gone. Got to speak to Bills about how they hold players there until they sign.

Who said he left the city maybe he is staying at his Hotel.
Pondering it over decided on the Patriots and is just being dramatical I agree if you love Calli don't want to move, don't want to sell your house find a new one and uproot your family it's a easy decision.
Unless he wants to catch passes from the Goat but Philip Rivers is a gamer and would be by far the best Quaterback he's ever had.

I bet he signs with the Chargers, its possible the Pats only want to give him 1 year and he wants a real 2 year deal or something

Yikes. You'd rather have Brian Tyms than Stevie Johnson?!

Well, apparently Belichick feels the same way since he resigned Tyms and didn't sign Johnson lol.

Johnson intends to make a decision tomorrow morning. Unlike Tyms, he has choices.

No we weren't, the Broncos were and they took a step back in 2014...

There can be more than one free agency winner. I don't see how you can possibly say we weren't winners last year. Broncos taking a step back was pretty much a guarantee to happen. I mean, they had a world record breaking season.

Don't worry I spoke to them already I got this one. Here's the secret---they dole out stupid contracts in which they grossly overpay, and then as long as you do something childish and dumb like paint your big ol truck the team colors, they'll give you the key to the city of Buffalo. Then, when they're paying a pretty good running back like he's a good QB and starting EJ Manuel as their actual QB, they go 7-9 as Rex goes ground and pound like it's 1974.

Every Bills fan were wonder what went wrong, until the first day of free agency, when they bring in a shiny new toy! Lather rinse repeat.

I do not like his attitude and could care less if he signs here. Just a point to be made for those holding out hope. California has a very high income tax rate 13%. Chargers would have to offer more to make it comparitable.
I've heard from other forums from guys who have done these type of taxes that when it comes down to it the tax rate isn't much of a relevant factor.

lol, good thing you dont run the Pats. Are you happy with Butler over Revis too?

I don't run the Pats, but the guy who does run the Pats did resign Tyms and did not sign Johnson.

This seems like the last exciting free agent that the Pats will be in on prior to camp. I really don't want to see them miss it again.

The Broncos took a step back because Manning got hurt/old. They finished 12-4, and tied for the best conference record, even with Manning tossing Mallards all over the place.

Seriously ?

Tyms has no options. Stevie does. I wonder why . . .

The guy who does run the Patriots has apparently made Johnson an offer that is being pondered. Would you care to wager on whether or not Johnson's offer involves a higher salary than the contract Tyms signed?

That poster is just messing with people here. Don't know why because that argument is so weak even a 10 year old knows difference between the two which is huge. I for one will not entertain that poster.

Well, San Diego has nice weather and hot chicks; but New England has a water supply and a legit shot at a Championship.

In my original post, my point was that I felt both Dobson and/or Tyms brings a downfield threat and height to our WRs and these two getting reps would really help the team bring a kind of threat we are lacking. Obviously people are just overly simplifying the point (which is the norm here and everyone plays that game).

But to your point, yeah, Stevie is more accomplished and thus will command a bigger market in FA. But to me, Dobson has a higher ceiling which he showed before he got hurt his rookie year. Call me a homer, but I'd rather him get reps. It's not like our receiving corps was lacking last year that we need to bring in another big salary especially since Stevie's skillset isn't going to transform this offense.

Why so serious? :D

@NEPD_Loyko: According to @UTgehlken #Patriots made a late "financial push" for Stevie Johnson.. trying to sway his decision.

yes because Tyms and his seven career catches is obviously a huge offensive weapon. Tyms is depth, Johnson has the ability to help this team.
