It's easy, and only takes a few moments. At the numbers floating around in the media, I have no problem with the Patriots moving on from Revis. It's not a prudent investment for the Patriots.https://twitter.com/MMehtaNYDN/status/575464800529965056
So it is really a 3 year, $48 million deal or $16 million a year. Most of it guaranteed.
I guess you missed the entire second half of the SBWhere does this come from? Butler makes one interception on a goal line, admittedly at a very important time, and now he can replace Revis? lol. I don't know what Butler can do. Maybe he can't do much of anything, or maybe he'll be really good. I definitely don't know right now just because he read one play.
According to the reports, this is basically over a difference of $4m guaranteed, so the Patriots were quite willing to "overpay".
okay, we pay the Revis $5m to play for the Jets, but we get a 3rd round compensatory pick out of it in 2016.

Don't slam the door on your way out.Downright atrocious. You're gunna pay McCourty but not one of the best CBs of all time. I'm disgusted.
Plan B time.......
It's clear Saints are in fire sale mode and CB Keenan Lewis has asked for a guaranteed contract or to be released. From film study this guy is the real deal. Trade a 3rd round pick to NO and get Lewis is my plan B. Money is pretty cheap.
