I don't know and at no point did I make the claim that we knew. The point I made, once again, is that if we knew, we are culpable, yes. Common ****ing sense. The issue discussed there was a moral one. Not that it can be proven. After all, even in court, it doesn't matter what you know, it matter what you can prove.
Exactly. Rules are written to be enforced. How would they know we knew or should have. They wouldnt. It's ludicrous.

That's why they have referees. It's their job. Duh.

God forbid the frakking NFL says what it's actually investigating! Even if it's bad for us I would like to know.

Would it really kill the league to just say it?

If the investigation is a standard one of removed balls they could say something like:

"During the game M of the New England's footballs and N of the Indianapolis's footballs were deemed unfit for play and were removed from the game. This is known to happen from time-to-time, especially in bad weather games, and investigating the removed footballs is part of our standard post-game procedure. We have no reason to believe the actions of either team caused the unfitness of the footballs."

And if NE was actually accused of something they could say something like:

"Indianapolis complained about the condition of a football and when the officials examined the other footballs they found that M of New England's footballs and N of Indianapolis's footballs balls were unfit for play. Based on that, Indianapolis has accused New England of improperly modifying the balls after they were given to the officials for pre-game testing. We are currently investigating those accusations."

Neither of these statements give away any information that isn't already known by the league and the teams so it won't compromise any investigation.

But it would let everyone know what's actually going on rather than speculation.

Some days I just can't understand how a multbillion-dollar operation can be this incompetent at public relations and communications.

All I know is that if the Pats purposely deflated the balls then whoever made that call outta seriously re-consider his decision since the Pats played better in the 2nd half (with presumably properly inflated balls) then they did in the 1st half (with presumably deflated balls).

OKAY! I ADMIT IT!

IT WAS ME! I DID IT! I DEFLATED THE GAME BALLS!

......I mean seriously, this is getting absurd. Kraft, do us fans a favor, reinflate your balls, and speak up against this slander and nonsense once and for all

At least I know how to make one. Your degenerated before it even started.

Ummm.... I was on this topic last night, until about 4:00 in the morning. The "degenerated" comes from your idiotic notion of moral culpability just because of knowledge.

Please make it stop!!!

Oh this should be good. Anyone want to place any over/under bets?

Mike Petraglia @Trags
Bill Belichick conference call about to start.

The ball stays at the LOS. Brady doesn't handle the ball in the huddle.
Long time listener, first time caller says otherwise!

Lol. You clearly have no notion of it and you just proved it.

Reading Kravitz' stuff directly, he got this from some long time source, which implies a connection to the Colts. My suspicion is that this stems from a complaint to the NFL by the Colts. Which leads me to 'Sucks to be you!'

It is absolutely clear that an illegally deflated ball led to Indy's helplessness in stopping Lagarret Blount from jamming it down their throats.

Makes sense. It would certainly be easier to make it fit.

Look folks let's be frank. The NFL cheats for the NFL's agenda. Teams cheat for the team's agenda. EVERYBODY cheats, only some get caught or reported. Sometimes they butt heads. So many players are pumped full of steroids and the league and teams go out of their way to cover it up, among many other things. They control every other game with penalties and flags. the NFL doesn't like cheating if it's against their agenda, and takes more control away from the NFL and out of the hands of the refs.

I happen to believe EVERY NFL team and every player cheats. We cheat all the time, like when we purposely hold and try to get away with it and sometimes succeed. Even that by definition, is cheating. Or a flop. You name it. I also happen to believe the NFL knows every team cheats, and a lot of times, how they cheat, when they cheat. I also believe sometimes the NFL waits to pin something on a team at a time whenever it suits their agenda.

BB is known to piss them off....so...this wouldn't surprise me. This could simply be punishment for us using these formations, because of how we are sticking it to the refs and the rest of the NFL.

Just my two cents.

OK. Now that it seems clear to me that you are simply chasing a conspiracy theory, have fun with this discussion, I am no longer interested in your point of view.

From the fact that no credible source has said so.

Ok so you don't know that for a fact, and are presuming it, and the only source we have is the original unnamed source, who did make a claim. Thanks. That settles it then. We'll just have to wait and see.

Just saw a tweet go by that by rule it is legal to push a ball carrier forward to a yardage gain.

Obviously we know where that subject came from. LOL. Patriots haters really are grasping at straws...

I've been trying to get the 1st half/2nd half stat splits for Brady. Haven't been able to so far.

Does anyone have it? I'm pretty sure that alone can put all this nonsense to rest.
