Hopin we make it through this game, that would give stork 3 weeks of rest.

@PP_Rich_Hill: Interesting to note that Julian Edelman played <50% of the snaps against the Colts in week 11. His return changes play call complexion.

Wow, forgot about that.

That could be huge for the pats. They haven't "seen" a ton of Edelman this year.

The colts fans and some of the media are hinging their hopes on the return of arthur jones. he's just one guy though. What the media is not saying is that chandler jones will also play against the colts for the first time this season.

nflnetwork is replaying our game against the Colts earlier this year.

Stork being injured worries me. ESPECIALLY if we advance and play the Seahawks

All we can really hope for is that Stork rests up during those 3 weeks (if we end up moving on, of course) and is able to get healthy again.

It was great to see the ball come out quickly, although one would think that SEA will have an answer for that on some level.

Denver ran the ball well and there was guys WIDE OPEN all over the field. Peyton just either didn't see them or missed the by 20 yards

Stork has been out for one week. Superbowl is a little over 2 weeks away, and 3 weeks is reasonable to return from an MCL strain.

But if he is out, it is not the C that worries me, but the RG.

The line held up reasonably well against Baltimore, who has a much MUCH better front 7 than Indy. It sucks to have Stork out, but we should be able to make it through this one without him.

I agree that we need him back for the SB.

They both worry me, Wendell is an incredibly weak C.

Both worry me. Kline has been a big, hot pile of suck this season but there is also a reason Wendell lost his job to Stork. As a starter, Wendell is very undersized and underpowered to play center. Especially against a front like the Seahawks. It doesn't worry me as much in this game because Indy doesn't have that force at DT to take advantage of this deficiency but, against Seattle, I have to hope for Stork's healthy return.

That last 2 playoff losses at home for the pats have been vs teams which beat manning in the previous game .So the colts have that going for them , if it means anything that is.

Very interesting. Meaningless, but interesting. :)

I haven't hated the Colts since peyton was there. In fact, I like Luck, and was a big TY Hilton fan (wanted the Pats to draft him), and I just knew Hilton was going to be good (damn you BB !, drafted Jake Bequette 2 slots ahead of Hilton, man that hurts). That being said, if the unmentionable happens, I will become a Colt hater once again.

I meant for the Colts game. They don't quite have anyone like Ngata, so we should get by okay. The Colts still play undersized but quick D, a carryover from the Manning days.

Stork being out is disappointing, but it should be pointed out that the same offensive line that couldn't do anything against Denver in last year's AFCCG pushed Indy all over the field a week earlier. And that offensive line is probably worse than this one even with Kline, certainly no better. That team didn't have Gronk, Fleming or Cannon on the bench, either.

Indy may be able to stop the run, but doing it without seriously exposing themselves to the pass with be quite a trick.

I think it's a product of playing on that fast track in the dome. They like speedy guys who can take full advantage of the turf.

I've got a ton of respect for you mgcolby. You know your stats and are a good football handicapper.

That said, everyone claimed the exact same thing last week with BAL, in terms of their 2-6 record against teams with winning records. As usual, it didn't mean ****.

Once the postseason hits, teams get hot and ride that momentum. I'm not claiming that IND will win b/c I don't believe that, but we can throw all of those worthless stats about the past right out the window.

You know yourself that the bookies don't get rich b/c everyone picks the "easy" game. They get rich b/c stuff happens that no one expects. Let's hope for a relatively easier kind of game, as I could use a break, but I'm certainly not counting on it.

I will admit I underestimated Baltimore, more importantly their mental toughness. I didn't see the same
'we don't care team" that came into Foxboro three times before. But in the end they were. Indy is nothing like Baltimore, mentally or physically. Luck is a turnover machine, the Colts front 7 is soft, this game could be close and my pick calculator says it will (21-20) but I don't see that being the case.

I understand and respect what you are saying but in the end I will agree to disagree.
