He'd be best served to go after a coach who has had success somewhere else.

JMD - while I like him and I think could be a good HC somewhere is very unproven still.

If my job is on the line, I play it a little safer. However, Dimitroff seems like a go for it kinda guy.

I think that if Chicago decides to bite the bullet and dump Cutler, they should work out a one day rental of McDaniels. Have him come in, fire Cutler (again), and then send him back to NE. I couldn't think of a better way for them to say FU to Cutler.
