Yeah the flag to amendola catch ratio is almost 1:1 it's comical. That's, what, the third or fourth time this year?
Though the difference between this one and the previous is that this one was a horrible call. LaFell ran a route and was looking towards the quarterback. The defensive back just ran into him. The others were designed rub plays and rightfully flagged.
Best games of my Pats career:
1.) Opening game vs Buffalo, 2013
2.) THIS GAME!!!!
- Was a BEAST at kick returns. Straight up snatched that role. Official KR for 2014.
- Great adjustment to find Brady, break route upfield, make backshoulder catch while being wallopped by the DB.
- CLUTCH recovery on the hands team
Is there anything Amendola CAN'T do??

I'll tell you one thing. I bet Danny boy would have caught the Welker drop in the super bowl.
Is it a promise of things to come? I don't know.. but if he can finally find his place in the O, it'll be all the better for this team. My reservations with DA are due to his inflated contract, his injury history, and lack of production, but he's clearly a hard working dude who's willing to gut it out.

It was great to see Amendola as a KO returner, and active in the offense against the NY Jets. That was a spectacular TD catch with a defender on his front shoulder. He should come away with more confidence. It was also nice to hear Brady give him a compliment on the CBS post game set.
(I think Rich Eisen wet his pants when Brady sat down on the set. Marshall Faulk looked like he wanted to run away instead of being made to sit next to Brady and Willie McGinest at Gillette.)
