How long has it been since you saw a Pats game in person?

None yet, I'm too poor

Once in 1998 vs the Giants. While an interesting experience, it sorta convinced me that you know, watching the games at home is an overall better experience...

....unless I have enough money to actually get really good seats.

Never been. Been to a couple of celts and bruins games and even a few sox games even though I'm not really a fan. Going to next season for sure. Pats tix are so expensive but, I can't miss out on Brady and Belichick.

Froob my man you owe it to yourself to go once while Brady is still a contendah.
Taking your last breaths, you won't regret the expense or experience.

As long as he didn't hit my girl, I would have laughed at him. Did he have a drunken serious face on as he was sprinting? And to further complete my mental image, was he morbidly obese (as a lot of Steelers fans tend to be)?

Went to the Steeliz Pats game last fall. Lots of talk by Steelers fans when the game was close. When it looked like Gronk got hurt the bastids cheered. It got intense after that. As Brady & co. pulled the Pats away, the rats slunk out of Gillette. Fokkin A!!!

EDIT: Kontra how did you know they were fat???

Listen to the old Pissah. He knows of what he speaks.

Well, based on yours and Kontra's stories, credit to Ratbird fans. I went to the Ravens MNF game in 2007. They talked lots of smack, most of it playful, but they never started winging food at me and my girl. Leaving, I got lots of death stares on the walk out, but no chicken poo acts like that...

Then you were lucky. I heard some nasty stories from others who were there.

Ratbird Ray Lewis-worshipping scum are not the John Unitas Baltimore Colts fans of yesteryear.

He was tall and rail thin. He swiped her, but he pretty much missed the full shove he was going for. He looked like a dirtball scumbag pill head, so basically a Pittsburgh resident.

I also had a drunk guy try to block me from getting on the boat to cross the river back to the parking garage. At that point I was ready to step over his unconscious body if need be, but a group of fans backed him off. Another skinny guy with sunken, soulless eyes.

Going to SD this year? It's on my list.

Doubt it. Honestly, not really looking forward to it. Would rather coach my oldest in soccer that Saturday (probably what I'll be doing).

Sad that I'd rather see them in Oakland than San Diego because it's closer.

I haven't seen a Pats game in person, but my excuse is that I live in Torrance CA. However, I would definitely go to a game in person if they ever came to play in LA.

Living here in Pittsburgh (my wife is at a local Ear, Nose, and Throat practice so I'm basically stuck in Western PA) I've had the opportunity to go to several away games at Three Rivers and Heinz field.

The locals have got to be some of the worst fans in the NFL as far as being loud, rude, and aggressive.

To be completely honest, I don't even sport any Patriots gear when I attend. It's easier to draw less attention to myself, and I don't have to deal with any douchebags until it becomes obvious who I'm cheering for around the seats. By then I hope to have a nice enough lead that they keep it as low key as possible. The 2011 game was rough though. Steelers went out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back.

I get to a game every year. I no longer live in Boston so I usually see them play in different cities. I travel for my job so I always have tons of hotel points and frequent flier miles which keeps my wife from complaining too much about the cost. Other than Gillette, Oakland is my favorite place because their fans are the funnest to be around. The drunkenness is high comedy. I think Oakland plays in Gillette this year, so I will have to pick another venue once the schedule comes out. Eventually, I will have been to every stadium to see a game. One or two per year makes progress slow. I have a lot of cities left.

Last game would be the 49ers - Pats game in 2012. Was frozen in the rain whilst the 49ers ran up a 31-3 score and lots of people around me left. Was glad I stayed though because the Pats almost pulled off the comeback...

transplanted ex season tix holder. Last season @ RAVENS. Now live in Delaware so try to get to a game in the area. Family discussing going to KC this year for the game. Do get to go to JETS game in NY every year as in laws are fans of Gang Green.

19 years. Of course, for 17 of those 19 years I've been living in FL.

:welcome:

I'd recommend considering taking in a game at Miami if that is logistically possible for you, depending where you are in Florida. I go almost every year (except for when it's a night game - which is when Kontra had his negative experiences) .... plus if you met up with Joker for tailgating I can pretty much guarantee that you will have an experience that you'll never forget. :D There is always a large contingent of Pats fans at the games in Miami; just be sure to bring sunscreen and remember to hydrate.

Was Joker well hydrated?

Was Joker well hydrated?

I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting with him in south Florida for a game against the Fins.

As for the extracurriculars that occur before, during or after game day events with Joker, some things are better off left to the imagination.

:eat2:

The last time they played in KC - 2005 - Brady had a crappy game - 3 or 4 INT's and I believe it was 4. I will see them THIS year in KC whenever that game is played - hope Brady plays much better. I would like a repeat of the 1st time I saw them at Arrowhead - with the same results - a Monday night victory and later a SB.

I WILL attend every Pats game in South Florida every season until the day I die.

These days I'm pretty sedate pre-game. Post game you gotta have eyes in the back of your head down there. Pre and post game off site I will only state that...it's anything can happen day. I may be an old dog these days but...well...I'm still a dog....
