There's still a few items in the middle of the FA barrel:

Blount
Incognito
Moreno
Clemons
Andre Brown
Kenny Britt
Sidney Rice
Miles Austin
Dustin Keller
Owen Daniels
Clabo/Steward (if Cannon is moving to guard)
Erin Henderson (if he's off the sauce)

Lastly, though it would probably bear no fruit, it might not hurt to give Tony Gonzalez a call and let him know that the team would have some interest if he felt the itch to play again.

Just thought I'd throw this out there for discussion.

Is Alex Carrington still available?

Still some value to be had out there, yep.

Probably nothing to get too excited about, but I'd be happy with a vet WR, the resigning of Blount, and some depth at DL/S prior to the draft.

Blount
Moreno

Blount is probably gonna come a lot cheaper than Moreno but I have a feeling Blount will sign with Pit just because it seems like a quintessential Steeler move.

Incognito

I'd love to have him here, I think Incognito and Mankins on the same line would be great fun. Dude will be on his best behavior too and I don't really care if someone is a racist homophobe as long as they aren't hurting someone or something.

Dustin Keller
Owen Daniels

I'd be much happier with either of those guys over our current TE options behind Gronk.

Gonzalez is a dream scenario for me, I think last season we saw what he can do. His ability to make contested catches is still a marvel. But I don't think he's a guy that would go to a team until week 10 once it is clear they're a contender.

I don't think Phillips will be that expensive. Ayers will also be cheap. I would love to pick up both of them and replace the Carter/Beqquette roster spots.

Give me Britt for no more than 2m and nothing guaranteed and resign Blount.

Use multiple draft picks on interior OL (pref. XSF early), find a TE in rd 2, use the rest for DT/LB/S depth (this is assuming Wilfork stays, Armstead playing will also be a benefit).

Incognito is the one guy on that list that could have a big day one impact starting at RG

If Dustin Keller is right I'd make a run at him.

Nice list although you should make it clear which Chris Clemons. As the decent dlineman has signed with jags and its just the DB who's available.

My druthers would be to take a good look at Keller and Owens, need more production out of the TE and insurance.

Thanks, sick of reading about the JEST.

The Pats will probably get one of Blount/Moreno.

I'd like to see one of Britt/Rice/Austin if the price is right. I think they're all waiting for the Jackson thing to settle.

Keller/Daniels - is Keller Ballard 2.0? Was his injury clean or was there microfracture involved? I'd love him here if he can return to form. Smart player.

Incognito is interesting, but I'm still confused as to how bad he was - and has he completely lost his mind with the Ferrari thing?

I'd add Pat Sims to that list if they can't get it done with Wilfork. He'd be a very nice addition. Shaun Phillips and Robert Ayers are possibilities, too.

And of course, Gonzales is the dream!

I am pretty sure Deus meant Chris Clemons, the strong safety from the Dolphins. He is a very good coverage safety and would be a significant upgrade over Steven Gregory (and I was always a Gregory supporter). Also, he can play both safety positions which give position flexibility.

Personally, I am surprised that he has yet to even get a visit. He is a solid player.

These are some players I would have interest in –

- Knowshon Moreno, RB
- LeGarrette Blount, RB
- Sidney Rice, WR
- Kenny Britt, WR
- Austin Collie, WR
- Dustin Keller, TE
- Owen Daniels, TE
- Jason Fox, OL
- Will Svitek, OL
- Eben Britton, OL
- Davin Joseph, OL
- Ryan Wendell, OL
- Robert Ayers, DL
- Will Smith, DL
- Pat Sims, DL
- Johnny Jolly, DL
- Shaun Phillips, DL
- Pat Angerer, LB
- Desmond Bishop, LB
- Thomas DeCoud, DB
- Steve Gregory, DB

I would add that if the Patriots are looking to trade Ryan Mallett they should consider signing a QB.

I'd bring Winston Justice in for a workout as a backup swing T so DeGuglielmo can have a look.

Daniels/Keller IMO are a waste of $, assuming they can command 2-3 million a season. Neither are that great of TEs when healthy and both of them are dealing with injuries.

TE1: Gronk
TE2:
TE3: Hooman

I'd rather a 2nd-3rd round rookie TE who will probably be a better player and have a higher ceiling than Keller/Daniels as our TE2.

Neither Daniels or Keller are going to command much more than the veteran minimum especially Keller (because his injury is potentially career ending) with no guarantees. I might consider signing one to bring into camp and see if they can do anything as a no risk move sine cutting them would not cost anything.

I think both Keller and Daniels are very good #2 TEs when healthy. Unfortunately, neither may be healthy ever again.

I think Williams would be an excellent addition as an one year stop gap. I think he could be a good rotational guy at a decent price. He isn't the dominant player he once was, but he still shows flashes as dominance. If you limit his snaps to 15-20 a game, he might be able to be solid in that type of role.

Although there may be a price point where he may decide it is better to retire than play another year.

At his age though, he may want to hook up with a Super Bowl contender and try one last shot to get a ring.

No DEs? That's a position that could really use a veteran as a rotational stopgap, since many of the likely draft targets are extremely raw.

I think he's above average in coverage and read. He just needs to work on his weird tackling skill.
