Did Rod Woodson just say Hobbs is "old?"

The entire "state of the franchise" segment was laughable. The highlights from the season, for some reason, include only about 7 or 8 plays, one of them being a 4 yards catch by Chad Jackson. When it comes to breaking down tape, they didn;t use anyone's name, and the Pats had so much rotation in the defense I didn't know who was getting burned.

He also said that OL was a concern because Brady was sacked a lot. But according to a lot of people in the chatroom, OL is lowest on the priority list. What gives?

He said Brady wasn't sacked that many times, but he took a lot of hits, which is a concern. that is dead on people.

I think some people listen with their ears closed.

I agree. My only point was the laziness of the Hobbs remark. Some of his points were legit.

Ya - it is accurate. But not because the Oline sucks - its because the wideout suck and teams blitz without worry. Drafting another OL isn't going to help.

Yes the Wr's did suck at times last year, but the O-LIne was also inconsistant, and Matt Light got beaten pretty badly off the line sometimes last year, where a WR didn't even have time to get open. The Dolphins molested the Patriots O-Line last year.

Dude, it was a Friday night and it was his birthday. I'm sure his mind was on the single moms he would be donating money to later that evening.

As president of the Massachusetts chapter of the Generosity Institute for Single Moms, I have to commend him for that!:D

But the guy is almost useless as a commentator, and one of the ex superstar type players who offer nothing but hate for the team. He can go tomorrow and I wouldn't notice.

I don't get strip clubs. Give my money away to see some tits? please.

I swear to God, I know these guys are responsible for knowing ALL of the teams, whereas we're just focused on the one we root for, but if you're prepping a STORY that you and one other guy are doing - shouldn't you know the most basic facts?

Chad Scott is old, fine. Hobbs isn't. He's not even close to old. He is pretty much as far from old than any impact player on the Patriots. I need to get myself a job as a HOF DB and then retire to a job on NFLN. It's my only hope for sanity.

Yeah. I laughed at that as well.
