That has to be one of the most craziest finishes we've had. That onside kick was barely 10 yards.. just barely.

RE: McFadden on Boyce.

McFadden was clearly beaten and grabbed Boyce's shoulder BEFORE the ball arrived to him. That's pass interference, despite Tasker's blabbering.

It was borderline and probably shouldn't be called that close to the end of the game. That said, the borderline ones usually go against the Pats. I think the intentional grounding called against Campbell was much worse.

i thought tasker and crique were cleveland home announcers

What ones were for us? That was definitely some type of penalty. Boyce would/should have caught that if the beat defender did not grab him.

Absolutely. He only needed less than a foot maybe to get the ball and the guy draped on his shoulder definitely prevented that. Tasker is a MORON.

Didn't matter once it hit the Browns player.

interference is interference.....that was DPI in the first quarter, it was DPI on the last play of the game

"Actions that constitute defensive pass interference include but are not limited to:

(a) Contact by a defender who is not playing the ball and such contact restricts the receiver’s opportunity to make the catch.

(b) Playing through the back of a receiver in an attempt to make a play on the ball.

(c) Grabbing a receiver’s arm(s) in such a manner that restricts his opportunity to catch a pass.

(d) Extending an arm across the body of a receiver thus restricting his ability to catch a pass, regardless of whether the defender is playing the ball.

(e) Cutting off the path of a receiver by making contact with him without playing the ball.

(f) Hooking a receiver in an attempt to get to the ball in such a manner that it causes the receiver’s body to turn prior to the ball arriving. "

i don't see anything about "except late in the 4th quarter in a close game"

Whoaa!!! Did the Jets lose after being so far ahead...!???!?

pfftt.. no.. why did you get my hopes up?

hah -- no. But they must have been pretty bummed to see how this one turned out.ANother layer of pleasure for Pats fans.

Was it even 10? I thought a Browns player touched it before it went that far.

Clear grab while the ball was in the air, Boyce at about the three yard line. That's where the ball should have been spotted.

That pass interference ruined what would of been an epic comeback. Instead it's just a tainted victory. No way in hell should that ever be called at the end of a game like that

You're either a Browns fan or you're blind. The Browns DB grabbed his shoulder and jersey. There's no guarantee he makes that catch but that grab impedes the receiver's progress and his ability to get to the ball. Watch the play in slow motion. It' s not as obvious as the Gronk missed penalty, but it's still there and definitely calleable by the rulebook.

It went 9 yards, but it bounced off the Browns player who dived for the ball so at that point it becomes live and fair game. CRAZY, CRAZY comeback win! Love it! I need a drink now! LOL

This one and the one against New Orleans where they could have called holding.

insane game.

This season has been heart attack after heart attack it seems like.

I think we got a bunch of strange calls go our way today and are lucky to have gotten the W.

Crazy week int he NFL so far. I hope gronk is okay, but wouldnt be surprised if hes done for the rest of the year/

On the radio they were discussing a broken leg. :(

That wasn't borderline. This "shouldn't be called" attitude is precisely what's been plaguing the referees this season. It's all about consistency. Interference is interference and should be called at all junctures of the game.

We'll win this game ...

It will be like popping zits off your face to look better though.

Let the record show ... I called this game ... :D:D:D

Because this team has too much pride to roll over and play dead.

Or, to borrow from one of the Twitter posts, the Patriots are the NFL equivalent of Jason Voorhees. :D

I like that. Made me LOL.

I've been a pats fan since 96 and that was a bull**** call and you know it. If it was called the other way you would be livid. I instantly lost all excitement I had for this game when I saw the refs gift the game to us.

Are you joking?!? That was pass interference all the way! The only point of contention was the spot of the ball.

The call didn't ruin anything other than the Browns' day. It sure as hell didn't ruin the comeback.

Sure it did, maybe not for homers like you guys who don't mind the refs gifting a team the ball at the 1 for minimal contact. Contact that was being allowed by the refs all game and only called in the most pivotal of moments with a ref that obviously got caught up in the game.

If you could take off your homer glasses for a moment you would see how terrible of a call that was. Almost makes me want to stop watching football as there have been far too many of these happening throughout the league. Watch 4 hours of football and then have the refs choose a winner at the very end... It's getting old
