Kraft will hire another quality coach and GM who will populate this team with quality players and staff. They will thrive just as other good franchises owned by great owners do. A down year or 2? Probably, but they'll be consistently good and in the hunt every year just as the other teams with stable ownership are. The Giants, the Steelers, the 49ers, the Packers, the Broncos, etc., are fairly consistent with their success. I see no reason why we won't be either.

Amen to that. We know that if the Jets and Patriots win, the Dolphins get eliminated in the AFCE race, and whichever one loses is most likely eliminated from contention for a wildcard with all the 5-6 teams fighting for air. The Pats are about getting a bye and being as healthy as possible come January.

The Patriots job will be among the most attractive in football assuming Jonathan Kraft takes the helm from his Dad. I would be surprised if there is not a succession plan that's been developed. My prediction is that Bill O'Brien will leave PSU and return to run the show here. He understands how things operate and he is one cool customer under adverse conditions.
