Massacare inevitable according to Texans board

Massacare? Is that a derivative of Obamacare?

Probably. Obamacare "massacred" my monthly payment by $440 bucks starting January 1st - as in I'm paying $440/month LESS for a better plan.

Back to football...so if the Texans keep this up (sucking) and get the first pick and take Clowney, how scary will their D line be with him standing next to JJ Watt?

Andrew Luck will have nightmares for the next few years.

Oh, and despite the Texans board (rightfully depressed) DO NOT take this game lightly. Do not take any game lightly.

I think they learned from the Colts and this is the blow for Bridgewater tour but I still don't think the Pats can take that attitude. They need to put them away early. If they get Bridgwater watchout in coming years because they still have a lot of talent.

A lot of Texans fans came over from their forums last year and they were a good bunch. They were pretty confident last year coming into the matchup.

Holy moly that's the weirdest one yet.

Back story?

Texan board has to be one of the lamest for NFL teams (note only some 300 posts for a game day thread). Not much football knowledge on that board

UUuummmmmmm, have you ever read one of our game threads?

I don't count on anything with this year's team other than that they will find a way to win. This isn't the old blow them out version of the Patriots.

...Any given Sunday. I don't underestimate any team in this league. Hopefully either do the Pats.

I'm not worried about the 2013 Pats underestimating anyone, not even Foxboro High varsity. What with the rocky coming to age of our WR corps, our high injury rate, and multiple close games that could/should've been won....overconfidence is that last thing I'm worried about from this team.

Also, I think BB/Brady are now pretty clear about the fact that each game is pretty much 53 vs (53+refs). They sure as heck ain't happy about it, and we're all well aware what happens when this duo gets pissed. I think the rest of the NFL is in for a rude shock, just mho.

in case no one noticed, THIS HAS TRAPGAME WRITTEN ALL OVER IT. I'm having a bad feeling about this game...

there I said it... ;)

Whatever man. If you don't like it, you're just a Nazi.

Now, how do I edit a thread title? :p

Obamacare is actually a copy of The Peoples Republic of Massachusetts health plan, Massacare. Mitt made it to the White House after all.

Please, just one injury free game, that's all I ask.

Will be less than TD game in the final score. Their defense can still get after the QB and our oline has had trouble all along. Add , missing dobson, and some run D issues for the pats with that crappy field, this one can be a tight one. Pats have lost last 3 road games .

Go advanced.

Sorry, couldn't resist the play on words.

Narrowly lost them, and in one case, was robbed at the end.

There have been plenty of " We're Doomed " threads here too.

How many would log on here if the Pats were 2-9 ?

Don't laugh, someday BB and Brady will be gone. Then what ?

I'll give this poster over at Battle Red Blog points for originality:
OT, but I predict the Pats will score eleven billionty zillionty quintiplity seven and Texans score 6 1/2.
That would be a rather epic accomplishment on both sides. :D

Then we will go back to all the years before we had all this, hoping for 6+wins a season instead of a SB win or an AFCCG appearance. It's gonna suck, and we are really gonna miss all of this.

I agree, and unlike the Colts they have formidable pieces in place to build around a franchise QB. Here's rooting against Jax & Minnesota the rest of the way out.

(Who would have imagined that Houston and Atlanta would be in the running for the #1 overall pick this year? A great reminder to never take the Patriots' sustained success for granted.)

People would still complain about McDaniels for not scoring eleven billionty zillionty quintiplity eight.

I can't entirely blame people who do.

After all, in 2008, the Pats spotted the entire league the difference between TFB and Matt Cassel and a defense that started dropping like flies the last few weeks of the season, and they still would have made the playoffs had they gotten even an iota of help from the rest of the conference.
