The Official Patriots vs Jets POST Game Thread

these kids will be all the better for playing early and often, rather than sitting on the bench and getting cut in two seasons.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves now ;)

There's probably a decent chance that one of them gets cut in two seasons, otherwise I definitely agree with your general thought.

They'll improve as a unit for sure. We knew this one would be tough.

I'm glad that I didn't make an early tee time for tomorrow-noon should be fine. I was so tense for 4 hours during the game that sleeping in now impossible.

but these kids will be all the better for playing early and often, rather than sitting on the bench and getting cut in two seasons.

Yup, let's just hope by American thanksgiving they're ready to go. The Pats D is going to need to hold us down till then..

Maybe venting has value, you get it off your chest and can focus a little better. Maybe 1 minute later you say "sorry guy's had to get that off my chest, now let's do this"

Walking around in a meditated state of bliss is some new age BS, not sure it translates into "W"s for everyone. Last year TB gave a heated speech to the team after a tough game against Jax and people on here said the same things. Bad leader etc... well we shut out Miami 28-0 the next week.

After the 25th huddle saying "we can do this let's go guys, championship drive" drop, drop, miscue. At some point most people will show a level of frustration, yelling, hands in the air etc... He's just being human and probably more patient than most QB's. People calling him a bad leader because of a few camera shots need to chill.

Whoever is calling TFB a bad leader needs to get there head checked.

Jones 2 sacks tonight. Good gawd, Chandler owns Geno...

In the stands as it happened the entire crowd that was left went nuts. I'm soaked and from the looks of it, going to be very disappointed with all the armchair head coaches tearing this DIVISIONAL WIN apart..

You may want to skip reading the board tonight and hit the sack then, though everyone but one guy on the board and the D-bag Breer thought it was a dirty hit by Mangold.

Ya, Tommy was heated tonight..

Lol, at Josh not even blinking..

best part may be Marquice Cole jus staring as Brady is going off.

Aaron Dobson's career got off to a scorching start tonight against the Jets, as the first snap of his NFL life turned into a 39-yard touchdown catch.

The rest of the game was forgettable. After the scoring grab, Dobson only caught two of nine balls for 17 yards, and he dropped four passes.

The Blitz with Jeff Howe & Karen Guregian | Boston Herald

Take away the scoring play where the Jets left him completely alone, and Dobson's game was abysmal.

"Talib picked off an underthrown Geno Smith pass in the final minute to essentially ice the 13-10 win for the Pats. Instead of immediately going down, Talib hung out on the field for a few seconds before stepping out of bounds. Even after stepping out, Jets lineman Nick Mangold decided to dive at the defensive back’s legs in the kind of dirty move that could cause serious knee damage. Talib seemed to avoid an injury, but his coaches and teammates on the sidelines were ticked off at Mangold’s play."

You have to be a major douchebag to do what Mangold did with the game OVER. I was THERE,just got back. I find THIS????????????? You SAW this on TV and thought..."aww shucks...nice hit"....WTF is the matter with YOU??? Really? That hit was as reprehensible a scumbag play as ANY dirty hit by Adummycon Susan.

Ah yes, because someone who gets published on a website says something, it must immediately be accepted as correct and truthful.

From what I saw, it looked like Talib was in bounds when Mangold went to make his tackle and that the reason Talib got hit low like that is that he moved.

Personally, I believe in being harsh toward people who don't realize or admit their errors, and gentle to those who do.

Thus, in Brady's position I'd be likely to yell at somebody who ran the wrong route, but I'd try to be supportive of somebody who simply dropped a pass.

You must have 20-200 vision then because Talib is out of bounds.

Thank you JDot -

Brady: "****, he was wide open."

He was clearly steamed at himself on that clip.

Actually, it isn't clear that he was steamed at himself on that one. He could have been pissed that the WR didn't do what he was supposed to do.

He mos def said "F' he was wide open". I thought he might screaming at Ridley to pick up the block..

Who knows tho, funny gif, lot's going on in it..

I wish everyone on the offense got that fired up for the game....

Another fine example by you of how you don't know this team or Brady.

If Brady is steamed at someone other than himself, he would be speaking to someone other than himself.

That was his reaction on his throw to Dobson on the right sideline that he threw short and was broken up.

That was Brady's response after watching the replay.

Thanks for playing (again).

No, just taking different things into account. Mangold is around 300 lbs and he's not what you'd call "fleet of foot". He sees Talib in bounds and goes to make a tackle. He launches at Talib's waist/thigh, Talib steps away and Mangold's momentum carries him forward. Gravity comes into play and the end result is Mangold hitting Talib in the back of the knee while out of bounds.

You're blind.
