Great. The Pats didn't need another OLB anyway.
NFL Network reporting
im sorry to bring bad news. but FKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
FCK U BALTIMORE.
no but hes an ILB in a 3-4..
Sure, he can play it, but he's been most effective as an edge pass rusher.
anybody know how or if they got under the cap? does this mean some players will be cut?
Hes a great all around LB..and he can COVER very well..something a few LBs on our team cant do anymore.
even if he played outside..itd be fine with me
funny..last year only 3 FAs got franchised..this year just about EVERY good player got franchised.
Briggs, Samuel, Freeney, Thomas, Redding
good names left: Stallworth, Clements...
Donnie Edwards isn't a good player? London Fletcher isn't a good player?
Donnie Edwards isn't a good player? London Fletcher isn't a good player?
Edwards isnt an FA
Fletcher is a good player but i didnt put out every name...
Just because they franchised him doesn't mean they'll sign him. I'm sure they will try but if they can't make it work with the cap they are thinking at least they'll get some compensation in a first round pick.
good is very relative... neither was close to AT
I just want to say "Thank you for breaking this new and intriguing story!"
Huh?
Thomas had 11 sacks, but how often do you see an ILB in a 3-4 defense blitz?
Edwards had 141 tackles. Fletcher had 146. Thomas had 83.
Fletcher had 4 interceptions. Edwards had 3. Thomas had 1.
You're fooling yourself if you think Thomas is a substantially better play than either. They're all very even.
