That's pretty hilarious, since bashing the Patriots' drafting is his total MO. How will he complain about this? :p
Congratulations to "State" for the wide receiver draft predications! :D

Now Bill, please cut a wide receiver nicknamed "Molasses Mike" by the end of business day Monday.

i remember a pats draft where we got arguably the 2nd best RB in the draft, and the 2nd best WR in the draft....

their names were Laurence Maroney and Chad Jackson

Funny thing about the trade at #29 -- I think Cordarrelle Patterson could the Chad Jackson of this draft. Eye-popping athlete, just not so good at running routes, catching balls, or reciting the alphabet.

Gotta admire the way some teams run the draft. SF really cleaning up and solidifying themselves as one of the best teams in the NFL.

The NFC West will be ridiculously tough next year. St Louis and 49ers are having a great draft.

Wow there goes lattimore. Good place for em. With gore and hunter in front of him. With that knee injury id wait till year 2 for lattimore

Only reason why I am watching the draft at this moment is because I have a slight chance of hope that the Patriots will trade into round 5!

Bill really handcuffed this team in trading away picks for haynesworth and ocho. we still could have traded with Minn and acquired their 4 picks and had we kept our 3rd and 5th rounders, we could have gotten barrett jones or patton or lattimore.

also you guys are kinda of funny in rating teams drafts right now...

Prospects are just that, prospects. Not sure things. If you want to look at it from a kool-aid perspective, the GMs are filling spots based on what they think are the best players at the particular spot they are picking, why would fans second guess that if they are not football scouts, GMs, etc.

I disagree. Boyce isn't just fast, he's quick as well.
He's a bigger, faster, stronger Deion Branch in Deion's prime.

The TCU QB in their bowl game against Michigan State was putrid. He replaced another QB who was even worse.

Boyce will make a more immediate impact than Dobson, who is a bit of a project.

I'm just scouting which teams I wan't to play with in Madden when it comes out

The Niners are frighteningly good. They're going to be a top-level team for many years to come.

He'll be gone by start of regular season. He's in just to get some competition in the position.

Unless he transitions as, molasses ---> glue

You guys could of taken Rodgers?

True, but I think his red flags are enough that even the Ravens are hesitating.

I also think the Ravens are more comfortable with their unproven WRs (i.e. Tandon Doss / Deonte Thompson) than I am. I have my doubts.

Maybe they will pick up a late FA who is cut. I can only hope.

49ers just left the Ravens scrambling. :(

I am not a happy camper at the moment.

I think Ravens would have picked Patton for sure (BPA at need position).

And looks like Vonta Leach may be a salary cap casualty with the Juszczyk pick up for the Ravens.

I love how the Ravens draft year in and out, but I also think it is hilarious that posters here claim they are so obvious and then they take a TE out of Harvard who is nowhere to be found in the draft mags. Newsome is great but people forget he uses Belichick's scouting system and approach with his own tweaks to it, and all they have to do to find that out is watch the NFLN Football Life on the last year of the Brown's in Cleveland

Hey, and I see Dobson as a bigger, faster, stronger David Givens in his prime. Now there's a match made in heaven. :)

Especially when you consider that their QB is still young and cheap so it doesn't handcuff them like other teams. As long as C.K. doesn't regress like Cam Newton I think they have to be considered the team to beat, especially in the NFC.

Also, when it comes to "obvious" and the draft, Sergio Kindle was one of the most obvious blunders any team has walked into in recent years. We tend to remember our own team's missteps more than others'.

And long may that continue! But i'm telling you now that everybody getting in Gronk's face telling him to 'tone it down' is what will be the ruin of him. Gronk should be who he is right now until he is an old man because it is refreshing to see someone in the Patriots organisation like him. Sick of this 'goody two shoes i can't make a comment on others' way of doing things. Look at White and Julio in ATL they say they are the best outside players in the game and then go ball out every week to prove it. THAT'S what i'm talking about.

Nahhh......he got his contract being exactly himself......between his bros and dad, they have his back

this weeks draft, coming in, 13 picks.

2014 - estimated picks : 10picks and counting

They are totally loaded !

To be fair, Kindle had a freak accident which resulted in a serious head injury which really ruined his career. I don't think you can consider that a draft blunder.
