The 2013 NFL Combine Thread

Ace Sanders 5'7 173 pounds

Get him in the 7th bill!

Yes!

But I want to see his hand size.

Stedman Bailey had nearly 10" hands and nearly 33" arms which is very good for him.

I'm surprised Tavon Austin came in at 5'9. I thought he'd be like 5'8 and hurt his stock enough to #59. Thought Woods would be 5'10 but he's actually 6'0 too.

I like Hopkins measurements - 6'1 and a solid 214 lbs. Add in 33 1/3 inch arms and 10 inch hands and you have a catch radius magnet.

He has proven and uptrending productivity in college as well --

2010 637 4 tds
2011 978 5 tds
2012 1,400 18 tds

For tight end I really like Travis Kelce from Cincinnati as a later selection in round 4 or 5 if he's there. I feel he may rise up the boards a little bit. He's an athletic former quarterback, late bloomer at the position but can really block and catch and has great size. I would love for the Pats to add him later on.

Kelce already has a 2nd round grade so it would take something pretty serious to cause him to fall.. .

A mission for Bill Belichick Black Ops

I hope that the NEPATSDRAFT.COM site puts up a combine compilation like they did last year.. It was VERY helpful..

I think Kelce had been suspended for an entire year. In 2010. What was up with that?

Mychal Rivera is a tight end who would be kind of like Hernandez, I think anyway. Good hands, adjusting to the ball. Not huge. projected late for some reason.

Austin actually came in at 5084 174lbs, not 5090.

Well then, there it is. A half inch shorter and 10 pounds lighter than Wes. I just can't see a 5'8 WR being a late 1st/early 2nd round pick.

If he runs 4.4 or better he will be - said he's run a 4.29.

Still prefer this guy later

Austin brashly proclaimed himself the best player in the draft when it was his turn to meet the media in Indianapolis. Asked if he views himself as the top player available at any position, Austin answered, “I think so.”

“I think I am the all around best player in the draft,” Austin continued....

In the NFL, he said, he’ll be a combination of Percy Harvin and Wes Welker.

Combine this with his size, and I'm guessing he'll be scaring some teams off.

Has that freak OT from DII benched yet? Someone said he looked like a WWE wrestler at weigh ins.

Johnathan Cooper with 35 reps. Excellent for him as it was his strength that was the one question mark. He might just go higher than Warmack unfortunately.

Eric Fisher 27x 225 Fluker 21x 225. Not bad for Fluker considering how long his arms are......
