If Brady expects to be "considered" the best.....

And Eli's throw to Tynes was catchable, and he made the catch. Yet, every one of you say it was "*********", "luck", etc.

Everybody refers to it as ***** luck. Even most Giants fans. And it was Tyree, Tynes is a kicker.

No, as in know your subject. BTW our second year placekicker had only 24 attempts all season in 2007 and was ofer over 50 and just 3 of 5 over 40. So the 35 wouldn't have meant much. Try inside the 25. His RT was lost early and the OL struggled all night. Faulk went out late and the only RB option was Maroney... He had two viable WR options and he hit the the deep option in the hands in the waning seconds...to no avail. I bet if he had Jerry Rice deep he'd have made a game of it. Last year he was dealing with a LT on a torn ACL, his all pro TE on a high ankle sprain, Branch and Ochostinko as his 2nd and 3rd WR's, BJGE and Woody at RB because one rookie RB was redshirted and the other was benched for fumbilitis. Backed up by one of the statistically worst defenses ever dragged kicking and screaming to a Superbowl... I'm not sure Montana would have fared any differently had he ever found himself in that level of predicament.

And yet, if you see a Colts/Broncos fan spewing all these excuses like you are, you wouldn't still dismiss the fact that he's generally come up short in the playoffs and ranks below Brady because of that fact.

When you start making superlative statements that 'all of you say this', or 'all NE fans think that', then it starts to make me think that you're just trolling. If that's the case, please take a hike to some national site like PFT, espn, etc. and do your thing there.

Heh, I got their names mixed up. My point is, I'm just using that same logic with regard to the Welker catch. Yes, Brady's throw was a bit off, but it was catchable. Eli's throw to Tyree :))) was catchable and it was caught...although in a lucky way.

In BOTH cases, it's on the QB to make the throw and on the WR to make the catch. Nobody talks about dropped passes when you talk about big games. Nobody remembers that Flacco threw a ball on the money in the AFCCG and the receiver dropped it. They just remember that the Pats were in the superbowl, and the Ravens came up short yet again.

If he wins one more of course he will be, that will mean that he'll have been to SIX Super Bowl's.

That's mind boggling.

I didn't say "all NE fans". I said "every one of you". That includes anyone else regardless of who they root for (except maybe the Giants) who has two eyes and half a brain. Myself included.

And QBs are supposed to make accurate throws and good decisions, but they don't all the time. Maybe if that throw to Welker was on target, you'd be talking about 4 superbowls right now.

Only the ball was placed to the outside shoulder because the safety was closing in. It wasn't a perfect throw, but if you can find me a quarterback that has been perfect on 100% of his crunch time throws in his career, I'll buy a ticket, fly to Seattle, and let you punch me in the face.

As it stands, the ball hit Welker in the hands. It should have been caught and the game should have been over at that point. The Giants, as is usually the case when they play the Pats, got lucky. They also got lucky by having numerous lost fumbles bounce away or, literally, between surrounding Patriots throughout the game. That's why they were able to sustain the onslaught in the second half in just enough time for Eli to throw up a prayer through double coverage.

He's clearly trolling. Do you really think it's a coincidence that this dunce is on this website posting some of the drivel that he's posting a day after Pats fans lit up Richard Sherman's Twitter feed?

Because Manning did little to facilitate the only Colts Superbowl win (Vinatieri kicked them into it and the RB's should have shared the SB MVP against a defense we'd shredded earlier despite a plethora of offensive weapons and a Rex Grossman led offense to best not to mention his own defense playing their best ball of the season). And he literally threw away the second shot.

The ball hit Tyree in the hands too. Btw, I've never been to Seattle in my life, let alone live there. I live in New England, ergo my handle. :)

This is a Patriots board and, yet, one of the most hotly contested questions in years was the question of whether Flacco's "on the money" throw ended up incomplete because the WR screwed up or because the DB made a spectacular play. Flacco having gotten the job done to the point of the throw is not even in question.

Tyree caught it off his helmet. Also, the throw should never have been allowed because Manning should have been whistled down, which completely negates your point. If you're going to troll, do a better job.

So you are a bandwagoner....

In all honesty, i think if we play the hawks again we can take them. If it weren't for brady's intentinal grounding at the end of the first half denying us a field goal attempt we would have beaten them in THEIR building. They are a marginal team on the road at 3-5.

The same dunce who you gave a "like" to on another thread? Interesting.

Trolling usually involves name-calling and flaming, neither of which I'm doing, but plenty of you guys are.

It actually hit him in the head. Strahan himself even commented how lucky that throw was being that Eli lofted it down the seam. Now you're clearly trolling.

If it just hit him in the head, it would have bounced off. He obviously got his hand on it. I'm not disagreeing with you that it was lucky. When did I say otherwise?

He didn't drop it, Sterling Moore knocked it out of his grasp. It was a good defensive play. People seem to forget that as well.

Seriously, why do some of you keep bringing up the Seahawks? Are fans of other teams not allowed to contribute an UNBIASED opinion on the topic? Is this how you guys treat all members who are fans of different teams?
