When I see a score in the 50's, I say.."GOOD" I like seeing high scores..If I'm on the winning side I think it's very exciting. If It's happening to my team, I say serves them right, I hope it's a lesson in humility and they try harder...and YES..I went through the 1-15...2-14...laughing stock, door mats of the league, seasons way back when. Faithfully went to every game and spoke my drunken piece of mind to the hometown losers...errr...boys:rolleyes:

The Saints and Patriots offenses at their best are just phenomenal offenses. They are so good that they can put up 50 points without breaking a sweat, on a decent defense.

This is different. The Giants and Seahawks were not exactly offensive juggernauts. The Giants had been averaging 26.75 PPG prior to yesterday, or just over half of what they put up against the Saints. Their highest output of the year had been 41 points (twice). They had had 4 games of 36 points or more, so their offense was capable of putting up points when it was in sync, but still. And the Seahawks were averaging 20.2 PPG, with a high of 30 points going into the Arizona game. Not exactly an offense to rival the Saints and Patriots. Those teams put up 50 burgers because of the defensive ineptitude of their opponents as much as because of their own efforts.

The Saints didn't quit like the Cardinals did, IMO. What the Cards did was absolutely disgusting. They deserved to lose that game 70-0.

No, the Saints D was just inept. The Cardinals quit.
