Does that flame signify al Davis now burns in hell?

Manning's rear kissing resembles that of Brett "Lorenzo" Favre.Very similar.

Knocking the QBs helmet off during a sack is not penalty? I kinda thought that was a guaranteed flag now.

way to embarrass your grieving coach by the raiders.

...can you believe THIS sheeee-it????

Anyone ever seen anything as goofy and moronic as those doofus idiots?

i just realized that Koppen is now the Center for Manning...

that's a hell of a story for his grandkids

yea, the two best QB's of my generation both touched my ass so many times...

the raiders are just a terrible team this year. i could not watch this game. whatever carson palmer had in terms of qb skills has been gone this year. he makes so many costly mistakes and turnovers.

Palmer's been like this the last year of his time in Cinci. What the Raiders were thinking giving up all those picks, I don't know.

palmer is a back up in this league..not a starter

you have to admit...denver is clicking at the right time

As expected in the postgame...the manning INT was because there was no thomas on the field.

Suddenly the Monday game is huge for the pats .If the pats lose, we are the #4 seed and denver is the #2 seed.

yup....next week balt plays broncos..who do we want to win..or will it have to wait until we find out what happens tomorrow night

This is like our game vs miami

I found several similarities, but the biggest difference was the adulation of the QBs. TB had a less than stellar game, several inaccurate throws, an interception and several drops. PM has a stellar game, several inaccurate throws, an interception (and should have had 2 more), and several drops. Admittedly his completion rate and yardage were better, but he was going against the 28th Defense in the league as opposed to Miami's 20th position.

Brady sacked 4 times and Peyton 3 (did I hear right? the most in a 1st half in his career). Both QB interceptions were similar, long to the outside right but to the left of the intended target. Both the result of athletic plays by the DB.

I wish I had turned down the commentary but unfortunately this is what the neutral fan hears and votes accordingly in the MVP race.

I thought there were several areas of concern for the Broncos in this game, not least being their red zone problems against one of the weakest Ds in the league. While Peyton had some amazing throws (over the shoulder esp), he still hasn't got the zip back, and that is going to make a big difference when he gets to the playoffs and the harsher weather conditions. Miller is a beast, but Dumervil seems to have dropped off quite a bit from last year, which makes their pass rush more containable.

The Broncos may not get past the first round of the playoffs as that effort was not the most convincing against a very weak team.

i don't think so. they've done fine against bad teams that's all i've seen so far overall. their defense looks good, but they've also been playing pretty weak or struggling offenses.

The mediots are ALREADY celebrating Manning's #2 Seed positioning (LOL).

Broncos (10-3), who moved a half-game ahead of New England and Baltimore for the second-best record in the AFC.

As usual, the line in the story isn't so bad as the headline.
(they got me to click, so I guess it worked)

Second coming

Peyton Manning and the Broncos held off the Raiders to take control of the AFC's No. 2 playoff seed.

Not sure exactly how depending on TWO OTHER TEAMS to BOTH LOSE THEIR GAMES against other opponents is TAKING CONTROL. Funny, but I always thought you were in control when you can win out and have the spot regardless, not win out and still lose on tie-breakers.

Don't worry, Tom Brady gets Jon Gruden all to himself Monday night.
