And it was pretty stupid of SD to do that. They ended up releasing a BUNCH of tickets on Saturday and prior to the ban a LOT of Pats fans had already bought tickets.
It was a feeble attempt by the SD management to get the 12th man.

He's right. College teams do this all the time...when they are afraid of the visiting team's fans over taking the home team's fans. BC has done this in hoops with Syracuse and UConn. It is great b/c fans always find a way.
