437 yards to the ******* Colts.

437

and most of it was in garbage time when the Pats took their foot off the pedal...who cares.

vince young threw for 400yards...didnt matter.

Does anyone feel good after this game??

- McCourty garbage again.
- 21 unanswered late points against a winless team.
- Our run game cant get anything going against one of the worst run D's.
- Terrible fourth quarter football.
- A bunch of bad play calling as well throughout the game.

If anything I lost a little hope after todays game.

*poot*...ahhhhhh...just want to fart in the general direction of this thread....I can only imagine how much gut wrenching, teeth grinding and brreast beating went on in the 4th quarter....heh...hope everybody laid their cash on the Colts

No, I'm not happy with giving up 437 yards, or with the final score, but a win's a win.

...and an opportunity to forget this one and think of the 'Deadskins' instead...

Let me guess.... You haven't seen a single play from a Broncos game this season.

No i've watched quite a few of their games.

Tebow absolutely sucks...then he has some 4th quarter drive to win the game.

It's the D that keeps them in it.

All i can say about Tebow is that he is clutch.

3 Colts TD's and over 200 yards in the fourth quarter. There is no excuse for that, even when sitting back.

they deserved to lose the on side kick and then suffer a quick TD and LOSE the game. That's how bad they are playing. To think I put down $10 on these turds.

Honestly saying you wished the Patriots lost?

Are you actually a fan?

Any major injureis?

Ahh the ole switcharoo

Someone tell Devin to comeback to the Pats him and Jason did the ol switcharoo to there teams..... That has to be the problem. Serious note why does he look so bad?

Got the win with no apparent injuries and that's all that mattered to me.

But it was a bit discouraging to be up 31-3 and to see the Colts bring it to within 7 during what we all felt was just garbage time. The team was playing good and then both sides let off on the throttle at the end. Good thing we weren't playing Manning because that game would have been closer.

Then again, maybe they all became complacent and fell asleep because they were up big and there was no Peyton Manning to worry about. This will give BB some fuel to light a fire under his players' rear ends.

Any one tell me how this defense won't keep any great QB or offense in general from pumping 500 or more yards on them in the playoffs?

If you're happy with the defense you can please yourself, I am not.

Did I say I was happy with it?

In any case, BB made what can only be seen as some baffling decisions in this game, and decided to go with giving several major players (Chung, Spikes, Fletcher) an extra week of rest. This D should not be the one we see in Week 17.

Mccourty is not starting caliber.. Clock struck midnight

Well the guy is just coming back from injury to be fair. But, in all honesty, this is how he looked PRE injury this year. The guy played out of his mind last year, but I think realistically, what you see now is where the guy is ....probably the 3rd best corner in a really good defense (maybe 4th) His lack of timing, inability to look for the ball, slow speed in reacting....not good traits. We need to address secondary YET (@*(%ing AGAIN next season. Sterling whatshisname looked like sh%t yet again......meanwhile newcomer Nate Jones looked sharp.....

I love the fact that they were laying a complete smackdown when it was 31-3.

I don't like the fact that in the 4th qtr, they lost focus offensively & defensively.

Part of me selfishly wants their stats to be more of a reflection of how much improved their defense is. The problem is that all this garbage time stuff doesn't help.

But a win-is-a-win. :)

No, you obviously haven't watched any of the games.

Yeah being up 4 TD's with 1.5 quarters left to play will generate that type of garbage yardage.

I don't think so, this defense has given up a lot of yards. There's a reason they're last in the league in yards allowed.

You don't like much beyond domination. You're one of the more entitled posters on the board. Look, it sucks that they didn't manage to play for 60 minutes today. I think that's a mistake. I don't mind getting reps for backups and ST'ers. Or working on things on offense. But when you take your foot off the gas and allow players to lose focus this is what you risk...

Hopefully it's a teaching moment for the entire crew, players and coaches...and not just the subs...

Interesting that you chose to call out the female poster on this board for not liking how the game was played. I don't care what you think of me. I don't like how they played this game on the defensive side of the ball. If that was an elite QB, this game would have been lost. That is my opinion. The offense did their job for the most part. Is it to much to ask that this defense make a stop or two at the end of a game? Just one damn stop.

And next week random jag to have a go in our secondary are <insert name of utter nobody here>

The Patriots are set for the regular season and are going to be in the playoffs. Today's poor defensive outing does not bode well for the team's playoff's prospects.

Sure, a "win is a win", but did anyone seriously expect the Patriots to not win? They should have won by at least 3 TDs. This is a legitimate cause for concern. Maybe I'm a spoiled fan, but I expect more than a 12-4 regular season record. I want a playoff win.

Their D gave up 32 points to the Minnesota freaking Vikings today.
