Good teams get "lucky" a lot. Bad teams are very "unlucky." Pats 2007 against the Ravens. Did we deserve that win? Hell yes.
Also last year's game v. Chargers

Or he could have just given it to Felix Jones who was picking up short yardage all night, especially when they gave him a full back to run behind. I don't recall him breaking for a long run at all, but the short yardage stuff wasn't a problem.
It makes you thankful that we have Tom Brady at QB.
You can only imagine the meltdown going on down at the Boys boards can't you.Well, when the Cowboys have their RB run into the heart of an unbalanced defensive line where the other side of the line doesn't have a single defender on a critical third and one, do you think they would have run the proper running play in that situation?
Their defense did give up 24 points tonight which should have been 27 or 31 if Romo just knew how to protect the ball when diving for the ground. I don't know how good their defense really is. At times tonight, it looked dominant. At other times, it looked like the Pats defense on third down last year. Let's not forget that Dez Bryant was hobbled for most of the game and they couldn't stop him before he was hurt.
If Witten hadn't tried to run from a 180 lb cornerback and ran him over like a truck for the TD, there is no play there. (my facts may be wrong, but his softness astounded me tonight. Big game on the stat sheet for yards, no extra effort for at least one 1st down and TD).The sad thing is if Romo just protected the ball on the goalline, the Cowboys probably win the game by 10-14 points. That play not only kept them from putting 3-7 points on the board, but shattered the confidence of the offense.

They are very aggressive and gamble too. They were good enough to take advantage of Romo, which is enough. Last year, we made a couple mistakes and their defense shut us down after that. No sense getting into paralysis by analysis, they are our most formidable opponent and whatever they're doing right, we need to counter and overcome.
Sanchez is damn good at times too. Consistent or not, you just need to score one point more than the other guy and they seem capable of doing that. We don't need to worry if they're too inconsistent to win it all, we just need to be prepared to take two or more, if it comes to that.

And Romo looks awesome, by the way. Remember, there was a time (2007) when he was considered one of the NFL's five best quarterbacks.

It never seemed like it occurred to Romo that a QB sneak may have been an option...The sad thing is, on that goal line possession, they called 2 pass plays. They should have just run it up the gut to take time off and then kick a field goal.
My buddy is in Dallas and watching the game on dvr. I told him to get drunk before the 4th quarter.... lol.

Love how you spin it
The INT that returned the ball to the 1 wasn't the work of the defense giving up a TD
Bryant was playing hurt, so was Revis
First game of the season, all teams look sloppy playing a full game for the first time
It was a great game, both teams made plays, the would have been Cro INT where he had the ball and tumbled to the ground only to have Austin wind up with it was a great play by Austin, an almost great play by Cro, just luck of the draw on that one, can't fault defense on that
ST's is still 33% of the game, the Jets have one of the best ST's in the league
The Jets defense will be very good, Dallas will be one of the more explosive offensive teams in the league, and will be much better on defense with Ryan running the show
Sanchez grew up again tonight, taking that next step, he had some holes in his game, but he was clutch when he needed to be and had one of his better statistical nights of his career.
The Jets are for real, stop trying to deny it.
Sanchez was throwing against special teams players... and barely getting that done. You are giving him far too much credit, which is was what everyone always does when the Jets pull off weird wins.
If I'm a Jets fan, I'm pretty concerned that we couldn't blow out a completely injury-depeleted team with an autistic QB at home.

Jets last 3 drives: Lost fumble, punt, 2-yard drive. Translates to comeback win.
He was also facing a very aggressive defensive front, you can spin how the Cowboys were lacking depth in the secondary, they are still one of the better teams up front
Stop trying to downplay Sanchez' performance, it's obvious he looks to be improved again this year, more in command of the offense, more confident in what he is doing and seeing what the defense is doing.
A pick, one fumble and one combined yard after the Revis interception.

Greg Rosenthal just summed it up pretty well on twitter...
How is mentioning that the Cowboys lost 3 starters at CB considered "spin"?
Unless you think that had no effect on Sanchez's prospects for the evening?
