I dont' know either. I thought a player could be cut with an injury settlement.

That was the old way, but something tells me under the new CBA you can cut a guy injured just as well as healthy. I'm far from sure though.

Injury settlements are to release a player from the IR list, which allows the player to potentially sign with another team (but not with the team that placed him on IR).

I think we need to sign a G and TE, and possibly a S.
I think Tarp, a corner, and a safety are at risk.
Of course moving Ras-I to S and calling Ihedigbo a s/t and cutting a corner to get the G or TE makes the numbers work too.

Yes, and TE and G look like spots we must grab a guy, with S being a good possibility too.
I don't know if putting both Smith and Yeatman on the ps, one heartbeat away in the event of an injury is enough at the TE spot.

I would say Molden/Butler first out? 6 DBs is a bit excessive. Unless the corresponding move is bringing in a safety, then Ihedigbo could be out? I would think Tarpinian is safest of the 4, definitely has the most upside.

I'm liking this roster- and like you said, there are a few on the roster who are just seat warmers. Tarp and Butler and possibly one more.

I made a mistake (since revised) by putting Barret in as SS. He is a FS. Ihedigbo is a SS.
