SPIKES, Fletcher and Wright back!

Spikes hatred for the Patriots probably pushed him through his injury rehab so he could come back and tell them how much they suck.

Well, the number of wounded seems to be headed in the right direction. It would be nice to get Bodden back out there though.

Guard Dan Connolly, who left Saturday's game in Detroit with an ankle injury, was not spotted at the workout, which was held in shorts and light shoulder pads. Also out of practice was wide receiver Taylor Price, who played on Saturday; his injury status is unclear. In addition, cornerback Leigh Bodden and running back Stevan Ridley remain out of action.

Running back Kevin Faulk, who is on active/PUP, took part in full-team stretching and jogging at the beginning of practice, wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Other players not in action were running back Eric Kettani, offensive linemen Marcus Cannon (active/NFI) and Ryan Wendell, defensive linemen Ron Brace (active/PUP), Jermaine Cunningham, and Ron Brace (active/PUP), and linebacker Jeff Tarpinian.

Just preseason caution, I suppose. Knock wood, the team looks like it should be pretty healthy opening day.

I think Belichik knew missing the offseason would lead to lasting injuries if he wasn't really careful managing them and that's why so many key players have been idle throughout camp. i think he wanted them physically ready first and would go from there, rather than push them when they weren't ready. They should be in great shape when the season opens barring disaster Thursday.

totally agree.

this is GREAT news. I would be hesitant to play a lot of our starters in this game. 1st quarter at the MOST. Even that is too much imo

Fletcher and Spikes back is great news, but not terribly important. This is what we expected.

Wright back, on the other hand, is interesting. Nobody seemed to know what was up with him. I think many of us had him written off (myself included). That certainly shakes up the roster projection a bit.

Any chance their piss poor performance encourages BB to play them this Thursday?

wait...I thought Spikes hated the patriots?

now he is out practicing WITH them?????

could it be true that a reporter speculated something from a tweet that wasn't there?

Nahhhhh, why would a reporter do that?

Did anyone mention the condition that Fletcher is in? Is he wearing something on his forearm/wrist still?

Yes. Apparently he had some sort of a small cast just on his wrist/thumb.

I think we all wrongfully jumped to conclusions that it was related to last years concussion. But BB being his normal self when it comes to disclosing injuries actually  let us know it was not a concussion issue. After I heard that I fully expected he would be ready for the start of the season. Of course my expectations were based of nothing more than it wasnt a concussion.

I am extremely excited about a D-line of Vince, Warren, and Haynesworth with Wright being the key sub linemen. Ellis and Carter will have specific roles with a possibility that Ellis could replace Warren in the starting 3. It will be interesting to see how Pryor fits into all this.

If it wasn't the concussion, shouldn't this have been verifiable through the NFI list? Or does he not need to list there until the season start?

Hahaha. Ok, so by "a lot of things" what DO YOU MEAN Brandon. Haha. He must be a total weirdo in real life. Thank GOD the internet isn't real life.

Just stop the rusher Brandon. Ugh.

price not practicing again is disturbing... as is bodden, i hope its just a managing of them during the week...
