.lee smith has stone hands tonight!

A pity, as they've been good in practice.

Speaking of practice, PatsPsycho nailed it with his ST concerns.

future headline...

Mallett does look good, but I still guess I don't really understand what he's doing here. I mean, I think it's a good gig for him, but what's the end game for the Patriots?

You develop, train and pay a guy for a year just to move up 20 or 30 spots in the draft the next year? I mean, if he fetches a 1, then it was great. But picking a guy at 74 and then getting, say, pick 45 or 50 a year later because he's signed as an RFA. Is it really worth the investment?

hoyer will be gone after this year and sent somewhere for a decent return, and you still need to carry a competent backup......the closer brady gets to the end, the higher end the backup needs to be. mallet project to be a top QB in the NFL....

hell, he looks better than gabbert

Bulter is most likely getting cut soon```and maybe sign with the jest lol

I'm really losing all hope for Darius Butler. I've seen enough to begin to feel fairly confident in saying that it's just not clicking for him right now, and I doubt it ever will. I just don't get what his issue is . . . he just can't make the play when it's in front of him.

Shame. His rookie year showed such promise. But looks like he thinks too much out there and is always a step behind the play.

Even despite last season I thought he still had the makings to be a slot nickle back but doesn't look like he's done much in August.

He is faster. I believe he ran a 4.28 and a 4.33 at his pro day. Tate ran a 4.53 I believe.

Tate was recovering from knee surgery. I'm not saying Price isn't faster, but Tate was badly injured in his senior year

So after their top 4 cb's the cb's aren't very good? I'll take that.

1 Mcourty
2 Bodden
3 Arrington
Dowling is green as an O'Shea

The Secondary is the highest injured position in the NFL. God help us if the Pats have to depend on Butler and Wilhite.

Jags playing nice and dirty.

three players stand out tonight so far for me

Ridley
Price
Dane Fletcher

Two players who i would be worried about
Butler
Whilhite

a player that could have played better - Arron hernandez, cant drop the ball on the ground...

All in all good showin, but then again we own delrio- reg season, post season, pre season...

I'm glad Ridley has done well. I almost felt sorry for the guy with all the negative remarks regarding him being taken in the 3rd round. It's a good start for him and I'd love to see him a lot more.

Yeah, it's amazing all those draft experts could be so wrong. Maybe BB knows a bit more than Kyper?
