Brad Childress once again opens mouth, inserts foot

Sorry, I didn't think you had a point. You gave your opinion of the writer and I gave my opinion of your being a critic. You can always ask for your money back if you are dissatisfied with some of the product.

Let's move on.

I did not, at any point, give my opinion of the writer. I gave my opinion of the article. Clearly, with your continued accusations, you do not understand the difference.

You know, you could actually try to argue against some of my points, instead of just making insults.

This is a nice example of why this site's articles are consistently terrible.

Not to mention the fact that since I write 75% of those articles, I appreciate the constructive criticism

Sorry, tough to not get offended by that comment and your original one, but obviously you can't please everybody. However, you're certainly entitled to your opinion and I can't fault you for that.

Nothing wrong with the article Ian.

Anybody know exactly what Coronel Klink has against BB? The only thing I can think of is SBXXXIX. BB seems to be good friends with Andy Reid.

Did he even mention BB at all?

You're taking "Randy Moss was bad in the locker room" to mean " Randy Moss killed my coaching career and this is further evidence that I hate BB".

The logic doesn't follow at all.

Writing sports articles - specifically editorials - is setting yourself up for failure, Ian. The only way to make them interesting is to create controversy, and then you quickly become ESPN. Your articles are fine by the standards of sports journalism, for whatever that's worth.

I really want to know how this guy got to the NFL level of coaching.

There's just something wrong there.

A lot of us have been coaches and to see him break simple rules like owning up to mistakes, coach to coach matters private. Never mind 10 year old kids being able to pick up on these things. We are talking about grown men with degree's from major colleges in the NFL dealing with a clown like this.

Couldn't agree more.

I probably respect and or admire more of the Patriots's worst enemies than anyone in New England...

But Brad Childress is SCUM.

I laughed my @$$ off when Coach Bill finally got a chance to make a move on that CHUMP...and stuck the blade in ALL...THE...WAY!!! :rocker:

***

Brett Favre + Brad Childress: MADE for each other!! :D

Don't you wish you'd stayed in Green BAY, Brett???

But thats exactly what hes doing here: taking a quote about Randy Moss and trying to turn it into some big controversy.

its pretty clear from whats come out of the Patriots, Vikings, and Titans that Randy was a pain in the ass last year. Childress stating that isn't anything more than that.

I appreciate that, although again, I don't fault the negative comment - those make me remember my mistakes so I try a little harder to not make them again going forward, and I'm sure John will probably have that on his mind for the next one he writes.

I was just a little bothered by the fact he said, "This is a nice example of why this site's articles are consistently terrible." As I said, since I write the majority of them on a day-to-day basis - it's nice to hear a little more feedback than that. Otherwise it's tough to make them better.

I don't see it as that at all. I think Childress is an asscl0wn, but I think its pretty clear that Moss pretty much did vomit all over the lockerroom.

Moss could have been the best teammate ever, and Childress was still losing his job, and I'm sure he knows that.

I don't know how you can miss the blame shift attempt. It is one thing to know that Moss vomited all over that locker room (I don't think many would argue with that). It is another thing to go to the media and publicly point out his failures. Childress is just using Moss to hide his own faults.

I agree that Childress was out either way, but this is his way of claiming otherwise and saving face.

I was surprised to see him on NFLN in the studio this morning too...

Like really? Childress speaking on football.... who cares?

I changed the channel the second I saw he was on last night.

Childress was asked a question about Moss. He never discussed himself, his faults or the lackthereof. You're inserting your own narrative here.

The thing is, I don't believe that Childress' quote is at all accurate. Childress, to me, represents the worst part of the NFL, a lying crapweasel who doesn't give a damn about anyone or anything not named Brad Childress, and who will say or do anything to cover his worthless butt.

Moss vomiting all over the locker room? really, like that wouldn't have made it's way onto some sports channel before now? C'mon Brad. We all know you live in junior high school reality, but that is stretching things even for the worst excuse for a coach Minnesota ever has seen.

This is Brad descending to the level of his dead coaching career and trying, like any rat-bastard crapweasel of a worthless coach to throw things against the wall and hope it sticks in order to shift blame away from his myriad faults.

Nobody can blame you for that: Childress is a CLOWN.

However, I tend to separate my personal feelings from a player's or Coach's knowledge of the Game.

Mangina, for instance, is someone who's perspective I enjoy hearing...even though I have complete and utter contempt for the @#$%.

You do realize it was a metaphorical vomiting not actually vomitting over the lockerroom. Childress meant he came to the Vikings and became a cancer. The media covered quite a bit about how Moss was a divisive force in his short stay in Minnesota.

It's true, he also pooped in Favre's shoe.

If you want Ian I can give you a hand. Here's a sample (But be warned, put on a helmet so you don't make a mess when I BLOW YOUR MIND)

Ahem.

Childress isn't a very good bus, strolls he them stories of the layer of messager Bret Farv of the text messager wang of the man and they of the cheek; re very of length to begin with. To pay the attention in him to network NFL is then paying the attention to the ruin of the train with cakes and the cakes are those that you don't like very.

Make the writers checks payable to NSPF Enterprises.

Perhaps I missed it, but I didn't see or hear where Childress was ever asked about Moss. Looking at that NFL.com column it appears that Childress brought the subject of Moss up all on his own.

"We had good guys, by and large," Childress said, "(but Moss) walked in the locker room and vomited on it."

Even if Childress was indeed asked specifically about Moss, it does seem to me that there were better, more professional alternative reponses that Childress could have used.
