So now we got the 2 slowest QB's Ever:eek:
you must be freakin high dude....you have one of the greatest QB's of all time in Brady....and one of the best QB prospects in recent memory coming to NE...who gives a sh*t if they can run around like that dog killer Vick......who will never win a SB.....if BB drafted Mallett....he's going to be great!

I agree. Wow, awesome pick. Geez, geniuses on this board...I tell you. Pats just picked a top 5 pick (personal issues) coming to New England to replace Tom Brady...yup BB is a friggin' idiot.

Hey, last time I checked ALL of you are at home, at your computer...BB is actually running this team. I think he knows more than ALL of you.

I'm at starbux on my SMARTphone...so stfu

Are we expecting the wind and the fans breathing to sack the QB ?

Best line yet. The bigger question is, what happened to Belichick's brain from last year's great draft to this year's laugher ? I mean really ? A RB rated as a 6th round pick drafted high in the 3rd round ? Probably would have been there in the 5th or 6th round. Mallett ? Are you kidding me. This is not a knee jerk reaction, this was a promising draft that has turned into a nightmare. I don't care how much koolaid you drink, this is a TERRIBLE draft. BB has officially lost it, and has lost my faith in him as a talent evaluator. Flame away, but this draft sucked, as did BB during it.

The Mallet pick really doesn't bother me, it's the Ridley pick. Seriously, there wasn't a front 7 guy we liked more?

First time in BB tenure, young backfield!!!

2011 depth chart

1. Benjarvus Green-Ellis
2. Shane Vareen
3. Danny Woodhead
4. Stevan Ridley

At that point in time McGinest was considered an underachiever not worthy of his draft status. Law had indeed had some good seasons ('98 in particular) but regardless you are missing my point in that comment.

I did not say there was no 'quality' on that team; I was responding to the theory of FTW's that 'no team has ever won with a team full of quantity over quality'. In my opinion the 2001 Pats were Exhibit A of a team doing exactly that. In addition I would contend that there is at least as much, if not far more top end 'quality' on the 2011 Patriots than there was on the 2001 Patriots.

Not even close. It was a team that had great talent. Many had suffered under the bad coaching of Pete Carrol, but the talent was there.

wow this is nuts. the only thing i can think of is bb has some free agents in mind. what the hell else could it be? 1 freakin defensive player so far.

Anybody else think Seattle was hoping Mallett would get past the Pats for them to take at 75?

Overall....I'm pretty satisfied with this draft so far....need a pass rusher and a Guard and call it quits.

Who needs Cameron Jordan, Justin Houston, and John Moffitt when you have Marcus Stroud, Rob Ninkovich, and Ryan Wendell?

Its official, BB hates putting pressure on the opposing QB.

How bad would this Pats mock have been blasted:

17. Nate Solder OT
33. Ras I Dowling CB
56. Shane Vereen RB
73. Stevan Ridley RB
74. Ryan Mallett QB

for months I've been panning mock drafts and NONE of them were this bad!!!!!

IS it me, or are the Pats still without a starting guard, a DE, and an OLB????????

The worst case senerio

Ryan Mallett is a like having a future draft pick to be cashed in in one, two , or three years. (like Matt Cassel)

Which they can then trade! Mallett could be a 2016 3rd & 5th 2017 4th 2018 3rd 2019 2nd and 2020 1st.

Can anyone say that the Patriots are a better team right than they were 48 hours ago??

I fail to see it. Solder over Light, maybe

other than that NOTHING!!!!!!!!

I can't even believe how bad this draft is! Seriously how can you have all these picks, have the pass rushing demon at OLB fall to 14 and you can't trade up to get him?????????

I think the Jags just took Moffit the last hope I had for this draft. This is an inexcusable bad draft by BB.
Of course they are.
They improved the OL, the secondary that was 30th ranked, and the RB position.

Regardless of what you think of Mallett, I do not understand the commentators idea of taking a QB, coaching him up, and trading for value. The only reason Cassel had value is that he looked good for a season. When O'Connell did not pan out, the Pats got no value. Why would a team give value for a guy who has never played.

I like the Mallet pick. Brady won't be here forever and who knows, Mallet sitting and learning, he could be our Aaron Rodgers. In my opinion, Mallet in terms of skills is the best QB in this draft. His stupidity can hopefully be taken care of by BB.

I am more confused by the Ridley pick.

We have the special teamer Ninkovich as OLB

It is hilarious when you clowns read a couple mock drafts and then think you know more than BB and the rest of the Pats personnel staff. we have been hearing the same idiocy since Richard Seymour/David Terell. It is really getting old. Face it, what has been proven over the last ten years is that the media and you are clueless.

This Draft has really upset me, due to its unfathomable stupidity...But I thank the Gods that chumps like yourself are around to provide comic relief!! :D
