OK, they have forced me to start drinking....

Maybe, like the fat girls in the bar, this draft will look a little better after I have had a few..(or a 12 pack).

Killing our SB hopes. Quantity never out-performs quality.
Considering where we've been drafting #17, #28, #33 et al I think we've actually lost ground with this draft. Lots of roster filler. Last year was a freak of nature. This draft looks much more the typical BB drafts.
This has been a very disappointing draft.

In your opinion it's been a disappointing draft. In my opinion it's been a solid performance for this year and next year. There is still Free Agency to come you know.

I have to admit, I liked Thomas over Vereen. Leshoure reminds me more and more of Maroney. Interesting to see how their respect careers play out.

People don't get that NE doesn't need a power back... BJGE is a powerback.. not like a mendehall but a powerback... North to south runner....

Daniel thomas in a north to south runner... Vereen is a east to west back... thats what NE needs

It's a 'typical' BB draft only if you haven't been a Patsfan for long. BB's EXCELLED at getting value where other people can't see any...07/08 is the aberration, not the norm as you think.

Also, I disagree with the term 'roster filler'. Which of the three picks do you think doesn't have huge upside? In fact, I think they might have gone a bit too much for upside, but hey...there's a reason why I don't work for any NFL team.

A lot of Patriots fans are unhappy during the draft, its only when you look back after a year or two that you see how well they do in the draft.

In the last two years the Patriots have, in hindsight, gotten two top 10 picks and two other first rounders in Vollmer, McCourty, Gronk and Chung and thats along with Brace, Butler, Cunningham and Spikes.

And thats between our first and second round picks.
