17. J.J. Watt DE Wisconsin

28. Brooks Reid OLB Arizona

33. Danny Watkins OG Baylor

60. Kendall Hunter RB Oklahoma State

Who is this Reid kid? :confused2:

I think Watkins isn't as likely to be selected by NE, but I love the kid and would be very happy with your draft.

Strong draft. Love the first 3 picks. Hunter? Luke warm right now.

I really like this draft, for the most part. Might not want a running back that high, but I do like Hunter quite a bit.

Once the new CBA hits, and rookie contracts are shorter, we may see a shift in draft philosophy toward more "ready to contribute" players instead of projects with high upside. Just speculation.

Just like my mock draft. Its just speculation. I really want Watt and Reid. I think the defense is in need the most. We can find Oline all through the draft so I think the focus for the first round is DE and OLB. Lets think PASS RUSHER PASS RUSHER PASS RUSHER!!

I would go OL at 60 rather than RB.

I like all 4 guys, but I don't see the value of Reid or Hunter at those slots. If Reid was at 60 and Hunter at 92, I'd like it much better. I realize that Reid probably won't be there at 60. If another team like Baltimore or San Diego reaches for Reid in the late first or early second, so be it. I don't think losing him is going to cause me any lost sleep.

I agree, excellent mock draft and all four picks are solid players, but OG Boling of Georgia has Patriot interior O Lineman written all over him and at #60 it would be an ideal selection.
