wow the jets are human after all

Eh wouldn't blame them. Its like finding out your wife or GF was being an adulterous ***** so a good way to calm the emotions is to drink it up. Not me though Straight Edge here lol

pretty funny actually, although I don't really think this is a big deal. I'm sure quite a few players around the league choose to relieve the pain of a loss by doing this same exact thing. Hell, I would probably hit the club too after a tough loss.

eh, to me it would really depend on what they were doing. Out "clubbing," having a great time? That would piss me off, because I know when I played sports in college, I wasn't up for real partying after a season-ending loss -- and the NFL is slightly different level :). But having a bunch of drinks with teammates and friends? No problem -- totally get it.

Heck, why not drink up a bit? They don't drink all season (Or at least shouldn't) and your season just came to a sad and abrupt end. Instead of being depressed and going home, they go have some drinks and party it up. They deserve that after the great season they had.

Partying after a playoff loss?? What the hell is there to party about? To celebrate LOSING your chance at the Superbowl? I don't understand this mentality. You'd never see a Patriot player doing that.

At least Braylon didn't get another DUI.

Sure you would. There's no prohibition on going out when your season is over and there is little doubt some Patriot players do just that. The game is over, there's no need to wallow in it and I wouldn't have any problem with it regardless of who does it. If they did it the night before game it would be completely different, but once it is done it is done, and they have every right to enjoy themselves despite the loss.

you realize a NFL player is basically on lockdown a months before, and during an entire NFL season right?

Playing in the NFL is cool, and all, but it's still a job. ...and I'm pretty sure the last time I got out of work all I wanted was a beer. ..dunno about you.

Did some of you expect the Jets to be suicidal?..give me a break..they are still getting paid and life goes on.

I don't see how they could have it in them to party hours after losing the AFCCG....however, if they were just drinking this is a weak story.

y

Good point, and as a Jets fan that must have been months ago.

Partying at a club, I couldn't understand that, but if it was just 3 or 4 players drinking, Rex's wife, and a few holes to fill, that would be how the Jets roll.

$2500 will buy a lot of snacks.

Im not talking "Lil Smokies" either.

Who wouldn't pay to see Pacman Jones,Joey Porter and Marvin Harrison hanging out at a bar partying together?.

That trio would be more fun..I would even pay admission to watch.

Reading that thread, man that 'nyjunc' guy is a piece of work. He's got the whole thread going bananas.

It's nice to know that every team forum has their collection of nutjobs. We should invite him over here to butt heads with some of our resident uhhh....buttheads.

:D
