Hines Ward thinks Chung deserves a fine...

Hey,Ward, there is an ancient Chinise saying " Every stick has two ends ". I guess this time YOU were on the receiving end . Where was your patented grin from ear to ear this time ? Grin it and bear it you double standard POS.

Hines Ward reinforces why everyone respects the Steelers as a bunch of whiny *****es.

Jeez this thread is so sad.

Personally I can understand how the man would be bitter over this game. He had the second longest streak of games with a reception going up until the weekend so I'm willing to cut him some slack.

And Chung did have a helmet to helmet in that game, one which I thought at the time might just get him fined. And I still haven't found a direct quote where Ward says that Chung hit him.

He seems to suggest that he was a defenseless receiver when he got hit on one quote and in fairness he was.

Another separate quote he talks about a helmet to helmet but it doesn't say anywhere in that quote that he is talking about the hit on him.

And he also says in another quote that he is not going to sit around and worry about if the league fined him or not.

Thumbs up! Ha:rocker:

Post of the year. Hines Ward is an ass and it sickens me that all the media make him out to be this "tough nosed, hard player" while Rodney Harrison was a "Cheap shot artist"

Hines' "tough plays"

YouTube - Ward blasts Rivers

Helmet to helmet, Rivers wasn't even looking, I bet he didn't expect to get hit either Hines.

YouTube - Hines Ward Jacks Up Ed Reed!

Oh Hines you are such a clean player, at the last minute changing his mind and cheap shotting Ed Reed. I bet he wasn't expecting to be hit either.

I am one who doesn't root for injuries, but knowing that Hines' injury didn't look too serious, and we challenged it to break his record, puts a smile on my face.

What goes around comes around....nothing more needs to be said

Hines Ward should stop thinking...

This idiot needs to shut the **** up.

Blind to his own hypocracy.

Oh the poor pookey. Did the big mean Patriots beat up on the sweet gentle Steelers? Oh you poor thing; it is so terrible when football get rough. Maybe you and Ray Lewis and the Crimino-Ravens can cry together about about the mean bully Patriots. Oh sob sob...

How would Ward know? He couldn't find the bench, let alone figure out who, when, how or why?

What delicious irony! Hines Ward thinks Chung is the one who knocked him out of the game -- when it was Sanders -- and the league thinks Sanders deserved Defensive Player of the Week -- when they surely must have meant Chung! At least Hines Ward has his concussion as an excuse! It's like one of those mistaken identity farces Shakespeare was far too fond of. The next act will surely involve the league fining Chung for helmet to helmet contact, and Sanders impersonating Chung by stopping someone for no gain! Let no good deed go unpunished when the Patriots are concerned, say the clowns in the league office...

There aren't many people in the NFL that I might cheer if they got injured, but Ward is one of them. He is the inspiration for the word and idea behind douchebag. I loved watching him get a taste of his own medicine.

Steelers and Ravens are such whiny little biatches. Schoolyard bullies who cry when you smack them back.

Speaking of crying.

Of course, he takes it to the endzone every time untouched normally ;)

Wasn't it Keith Rivers that was "clocked" by Ward? Now he wasn't expecting to get hit, but Ward laid it on him.

Honestly, this is football. How can you make a statement like that?

I wouldn't go quite that far but close....Hes is the king of the WR crack-back block.

Ward is a moron, he was knocked out of the game by Sanders not Chung, the Steelers have been crying louder than anyone else about all of the fines players have been getting and now ward wants a fine on someone who ended his reception streak?

Justice indeed.

I doubt that Ward really thinks any Patriot deserves a fine.

This is just Ward's foray into the whole Harrison-Polamalu-Steelers vs. the Commissioner battle. He's backing up his defensive teammates by cracking Goodell on his seemingly arbitrary fine policy.
