That's rich. The biggest cheap shot artist on the offensive side of the ball in the entire NFL wants someone to pay for the incidental contact that led to his "neck" injury.

Not to mention he picked the wrong guy. It was clearly Sanders, and not Chung, who made contact with him.

BostonHerald.com - Blogs: Rap Sheet Blog Archive Steelers WR Hines Ward wants Patriots S Patrick Chung fined… but why?

“I was falling down and I wasn’t expecting to get hit,” Ward told the paper. “He hit me, and that is what caused the head/neck or whatever you guys want to call it. I don’t know what the league wants. It is what it is. It was helmet to helmet, and I thought that is what usually causes a fine. I am not going to sit there and worry about if the guy got fined or not.”

I love that Belichick's challenge ruined his consecutive games with a reception streak.

Douchebag Ward said:
I wasn’t expecting to get hit

Of course, he takes it to the endzone every time untouched normally ;)

well.......it wasn't chung, but the first part of sanders to hit ward was his helmet and it was helmet to helmet. I don't know how they look at other factors such as chung starting to tackle ward first.

Poor Hines, he wasn't expecting to get hit! Tell that to Keith Rivers, douchebag.

Ryan Clark didn't get fined, so what's Ward complaining about?

Guys,

calm down its Hines Ward.....Crying and Hines Ward go hand and hand was suprised it took so long the cobb webbs must be clearing up know so he left the dark room and a reporter saw his tears.

It wasn't on the Hines Ward hits but shortly after it Chung deffo had a helmet to helmet. I remember remarking on it in the game thread here.

When the same thing happened to Wes Welker two years ago, you know what he said about Ryan Clark? He said he doesn't deserve to get fined.

Welker > Ward

The crying (which BTW was after the Pats whooped that ass in the AFC championship six seasons ago) just goes to show how much the Pats are in the Steelers' heads. I love it.

Welker > Ward

The hit on Welker seems far worse! Just Welker is a machine, so doesn't feel emotion ;)

The Steelers seem pretty pissed off that they aren't allowed to head hunt anymore.

Post of the year. Hines Ward is an ass and it sickens me that all the media make him out to be this "tough nosed, hard player" while Rodney Harrison was a "Cheap shot artist"

Hines' "tough plays"

YouTube - Ward blasts Rivers

Helmet to helmet, Rivers wasn't even looking, I bet he didn't expect to get hit either Hines.

YouTube - Hines Ward Jacks Up Ed Reed!

Oh Hines you are such a clean player, at the last minute changing his mind and cheap shotting Ed Reed. I bet he wasn't expecting to be hit either.

I am one who doesn't root for injuries, but knowing that Hines' injury didn't look too serious, and we challenged it to break his record, puts a smile on my face.

Hypocrisy is in plentiful supply in Pittsburgh.

I'd have been more suprised if he didn't complain about something from the game.

omg there's so much irony and hypocrisy. and the funny part is that Sanders was defensive pow. I love the NFL.

How was he cleared for practice today? His head still isn't on straight, it seems.

Hey Hines, in case you're reading:rolleyes:...you are a pathetic sack of donkey dung. I actually felt bad because I don't wish a head injury on anyone even a douche like yourself, but now I'm not only glad you got your bell rung, and lost the game, but you lost your receptions streak because of it. Just another way of how the Patriots own your *****!!!

That really does feel good.

There is no question that the Pats stick in other teams craws like no one else. It's an endless list of moaners, winers and complainers.
