IMO, the Patriots don't have their corners press a whole lot. I remember BB talking about how he likes his defenses to be symmetrical, and that having one 6'2 corner opposite a 5'10 corner does have some advantages, but he was hinting that that's not what he likes to do.
I don't think Butler will ever be a great press corner. Even for a CB, he's a pretty skinny dude. I think Bodden is a good presser, but he's no Al Harris, so to speak.
I think it's a system fit really. Those guys from Baltimore really like Corners that get in your face and jam (Remember Tory James?). I think Wilson had a better college career but McCourty is a better athlete.
I will say one negative thing for Wilson, a few years ago a guy named Chris Houston, who had a very similar skill set to Wilson, and he was a huge bust.
