So they traded Lito Sheppard for Lito Sheppard II. Cromartie is one of the most overrated players in the league. One good year that was way overrated and people think he is a good CB. The Chargers didn't trade him for a conditional draft pick because he is a stud.

The Jets blitz is totally dependent on having cover corners that can go one on one while the safeties or LBs blitz. This is really bad news for our division.

Does anyone else have the uneasy feeling that the Patriots are gonna sit on their hands during the FA period while forces of darkness clean up?

Well the Jets aren't in the Chargers division, and their GM is good at turning those draft picks into valuable talent. So for them it's worth it.
Plus maybe they're thinking - well if the Jets win the AFCE and knock the Pats out of the playoffs, then we don't have to face them.

Schefter is confirming it via his twitter. Says it is a 2011 3rd that could rise to a 2nd. Doesn't say what the conditions are for the pick to go higher.
