Actually PSquad positions are for healthy young players...NOT vets and not those injured. Inactives are those that are not needed in the game..those injured and those in positions where they can be least used...which would usually be a RB, 2 OL, 1 DL...and such...as well as those injured. Taylor is the RB...Light might be one of the OL..Brace the DL..It also has to do with those on ST. So Chung, Alexander, Ninkovich and others who play a LOT of ST will not be inactive. If players are healthy, it comes down to who is least valuable as a backup or ST player. There is no reason to have an inactive healthy vet - inactives and PS positions are for young developmental players and injured guys.
If it was a good weather game, I agree...but in heavy rain and wind..he's not needed..unless there is an injury and Welker/Moss are out. Maybe in London..against teh Bucs..I really hope that Galloway isn't inactive tomorrow. He's a deep threat who, at the very least, makes defenses think twice about shifting their coverage over to exclusively Welker and Moss. Best case scenario, he's capable of breaking the big one. He would have had a HUGE TD that would have won us the game if Brady was capable of getting the ball to him in Week 2. I want to see him active.

You sure about that?Even in heavy rain and wind, Galloway is still capable of creating separation. If he and Brady can get their timing down, he's capable of catching the shorter and intermediate passes.
That might be true...but I think he'll be inactive tomorrow with rain and wind for sure...Could be wrong of course...BUT..I do agree that I would LOVE to see a break out game for him..they need it.Even in heavy rain and wind, Galloway is still capable of creating separation. I hope Galloway is active tomorrow. 4 weeks of being inactive is pointless, if that's the case then just cut him. If this guy needs half the season to learn his **** then F it.
If he continues to be inactive tomorrow, then that is a clear indication they will cut him and I believe only so when Tate comes off PUP.
I tend to agree....he has never practiced...his knee was operated on..he is recovering since then...I don't know how much he has absorbed so far...the play book etc..Maybe returns but I agree passng takes a lot of time drilsl etc..and that is not at all possible..HE could go from NFI to PUP which would give him more time..that is possible...or he could go straight to the 53 or IR...but those are also possibilities after he is PUPed...I think it will depend on many things..Im not sure i understand where this whole "when Tate comes back" thing comes from. I see alot of people posting this. Has he even practiced with the team? Its my understanding that he was drafted, and pup'd, and has not practiced. If thats the case, why are so many people thinking that he'll come back and replace Galloway? This kid is a rookie coming off a knee injury. He probably wont be contributing to the passing game for awhile. Returns maybe, but i doubt in the passing game.

As for Galloways possible inactive status...I just think with wind..rain..they may NOT need a 5th receiver...I agree I would love to see him active and get reps..on a good day weather wise absolutely!!! But in a game in the rain..that might not be as easy...I would say IF he's inactive it would be his 3rd game NOT 4th....and next week definitely active...
If he continues to be inactive tomorrow, then that is a clear indication they will cut him and I believe only so when Tate comes off PUP or after the trade deadline in which case he must then be claimed off waivers and so will most likely go to a team not in contention (by order of priority), if I understand that correctly.
This is my best bet. Galloway is done, but they don't want him to land on a good team.
